CAMPUS, NAVRANGPURA, AHMEDABAD SHORT TENDER NOTICE NO 4/ for providing Desktop and laptop Gujarat Technological University invites tenders directly from authorized dealer or distributer under two bid systems from interested parties for providing Desktop and laptop. SHORT TENDER NOTICE NO. 4/ The last date of Collecting Tender Document is up to 15 Hrs. The last date of submission of Tender is up to 12 Hrs. The date for opening of Tender (Technical bid) is up to Hrs. The date for opening of Price Bid of eligible Tender is up to Hrs. Tender fee (Non Refundable) Rs 500/-is required to be paid for collecting Tender Document in the form of Demand Draft in favor of GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, payable at Ahmedabad. EMD (Refundable) Rs 10000/-is required to be paid along with the tender document in the form of Demand Draft in favor of GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, payable at Ahmedabad. Tender Documents received late / incomplete without requisite papers and Demand Draft for tender fee and EMD shall be summarily rejected. GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, without assigning any reasons. 3 GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY SHORT TENDER NOTICE NO 4/ For providing Desktop and laptop GENERAL CONDITIONS The tenderer should invariably submit his tender in sealed cover which contains two sealed covers namely (1) E.M.D. And Technical Bid Cover (2) Commercial bid Cover. EMD AND TECHNICAL BID COVER I) EMD and Technical Bid cover should contain EMD in form of demand draft of an amount as mention in Annexure - I. In case of tender without EMD, commercial bid cover will not be opened. THIS MAY PLEASE BE NOTED. II) Technical Bid should contain original copy of tender including all documents as per tender requirement (except Commercial Bid Document) along with attested copies of GST and CST Registration Certificate, PAN, and other certificate documents as per check list. III) Tenderer should also furnish the details on nature of constitution of their firm; names and addresses of the Partners/ Proprietors/Directors and also the details of sister concerns if any. Submission of authorised dealer or distributer letter from manufacturer is must. COMMERCIAL BID Commercial Bid should contain only rates/prices of items per unit inclusive if all taxes. SECURITY DEPOSIT Successful tenderer has to submit security deposit of Rs in the form of bank guarantee valid up to warranty period. EMD will be refunded after submission of security deposit. BROCHURE OR PAMPHLET The tenderers are required to submit the Brochure or pamphlet for the Desktop and laptop quoted with all specification. WARRANTY (a) (b) Warranty Tenderer should mention clearly about Comprehensive onsite warranty minimum one year from the date of installation of Desktop and laptop. Maintenance service You will provide free maintenance services during the period of warranty. 3

4 VALIDITY OF TENDER Tenderers are requested to note that their offer must be valid for acceptance minimum for a period of 1 month from the date of opening of tender. Offer with less validity period will be rejected. Silence in this regard will be considered that the offer is valid for 1 months from the date of opening. DELIVERY PERIOD/ PENALTY Delivery period for supplying the stores should be 3 week from the date of order. You have to provide free delivery at GTU office. Penalty of 0.5 % per week is imposed on late delivery. PAYMENT 100% payment will be made after successful demonstration Installation and Inspections of items at consignee place within 15 days. AUTHORIZATION When a tenderer is not a manufacturer himself should submit a letter from the manufacturer authorizing him to submit quotation on his behalf. OTHER CONDITIONS The conditional offer is liable to be ignored.
