For optimum performance and safety, please read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating or adjusting this product. Please keep this manual for future reference. 1.0 INTRODUCTION This kind of the HDMI Amplifier Switcher not only has the IR remote mechanical function, but also has the intelligent function. It can be used by controlling the IR remote or by hands. Fortunately, it also has been upgraded to be intelligent. This kind of HDMI Amplifier Switcher routes high definition video (in multiple resolutions up to 1080p) and digital audio from any one of the several sources to display units. All inputs accommodate the connections of the high definition video sources simultaneously, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display. 1.1 INTELLIGENT FUNCTION 1) When supplied with power, this switcher will select the power-on source device depending on the sequence automatically (input1>inout2>input3>.) 2) Once the source device is turned on or plugged in (should stay power-on mode), the switcher will automatically select this source. 3)Once the source device is turned off or plugged out, the switcher will automatically select the next power-on source depending on the sequence automatically(input1>inout2>input3>.) Note: 1) When the source devises are on the stand-by mode, its power supply should be turned off. Otherwise this switcher cannot meet intelligent function. 2) When plugged in or out, this switcher is completely intelligent. 1.2 LIABILITY STATEMENT Every effort has been made to ensure that this product is free of defects. Remote control 5VDC Power Supply User's Manual Note: Please retain the original packing material in the case of needing to return the unit. If you find any items are missing, contact FireFold immediately. Please have the model number, serial number and invoice available for reference when you call. 4.0 PANEL DESCRIPTIONS 4

6 5.0 CONNECT AND OPERATE 1) Connect the HDMI input source into the HDMI switch. (Input cables are optional) *Please refer to connection diagram section. 2) Insert the DC side of 5v power supply into the HDMI switch and then connect the AC side of the power supply into the wall outlet. 3) Turn on the power. Attention: Insert / Extract cable gently. 5.1 CONNECTION DIAGRAM 6.0 TROUBLESHOOTING If the product doesn t appear to be functioning, make certain that the source and the destination device connected to the unit are functioning correctly. If there exist another problems please check the below settlement carefully. Without LED light No display Without sound Is the power adapter connected? Is the ON/OFF switch on ON position? Is the display unit turning on? Are cables connected properly? Please refer to the connection diagram. 1/. Check the display volume 2/. Turn off the HDMI source (DVD, PS3 etc.) and power on again. If it s still not ok, then 3/. Turn off the switch box and turn on again 4/. Repeat step 2 again if still not working 5

7 Remote not working * Some HDMI devices without ATC certified will have such problems. Replace the battery of the remote control DO NOT open the HDMI switch box. There are no user repairable parts inside. Once opened, there is no responsibility of us. For other problems, please contact Admin@FireFold.com or distributor for repair. 6.1 Non-HDCP Compliant Devices If a DVI device does not appear to work, make certain that the device is HDCP compliant. A non-hdcp compliant DVI device will not work with a signal that has HDCP encoding present 7.0 LIMITED WARRANTY Should any consumer product from FireFold fail due to defects in materials or workmanship within one year from the date of the original sale to the end-user, FireFold guarantees that we will replace the defective product at no cost. Freight charges for the replacement unit will be paid by the customers. A copy of the invoice showing the item number and date of purchase (proof-of-purchase) must be submitted with the defective unit to constitute a valid in-warranty claim. Units that fail after the warranty period has expired may be returned to the factory for repair at a nominal charge, if not damaged beyond the point of repair. All freight charges for out-of-warranty returns for repair are the responsibility of the customer. Units returned for repair must have a Return Authorization Number assigned by the factory. This is a limited warranty and is not applicable for products which, in our opinion, have been damaged, altered, abused, misused, or improperly installed. FireFold makes no other warranties either expressed or implied, including limitation warranties as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Additionally, there are no allowances or credits available for service work or installation performed in the field by the end user. Notice FireFold reserves the right to make changes in the hardware, packaging and any accompanying documentation without prior written notice. Different products have different outlooks. 6
