6 INSIDE THE VEHICLE: A Comfortable, Safe and Reliable Mobile Office for First Responders Fujitsu and its integration partners, provide a custom mobile office solution designed around the LIFEBOOK T-Series and STYLISTIC Q-Series tablet PCs. The Fujitsu tablet is mounted in custom-designed, pressure-fit, powder-coated steel mount and paired with a fully rugged, backlit and removable keyboard. This allows for vital components and connections to be tucked neatly behind the screen, creating more room and safety for the operator. The swing-away mount feature, which can attach to the side of any after-market console, offers the look and feel of an in-dash without altering the dashboard of the car. It provides full visibility through the windshield and both side mirrors and complete access to the passenger seat. When your officers need access to the vehicle s basic dash controls, they simply pull on the mount and push back to lock in place. The separate keyboard tray also swings out of the way to provide access to the center console. 6

12 SUCCESS STORY: City of Muskogee Police Department The Muskogee Police Department (MPD) services over 40,000 residents covering 46 square miles. The 90 officers that make up the MPD strive to make their city one of the safest in America. Unfortunately, their fleet of Dodge Chargers and Ford Crown Victorias were not equipped with mobile computers and their officers were spending a good portion of each 10-hour shift completing reports back at the station. On the recommendation of several other departments, as well as industry reviews, the MPD went with Brite s Fujitsu Solution.
