3 NVIDIA Quadro FX4700 X2 by PNY Technologies Part No. VCQFX4700X2-PCIE-PB Overview NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY Technologies is an ultra high performance graphic board designed to handle massive datasets and specialized needs for the Visualization & Simulation, Oil & Gas Exploration and Broadcast & Film markets. NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY Technologies offers two NVIDIA 4700 GPUs on a single board with four dual link DVI monitor outputs and 1GB GDDR3 frame buffer memory per GPU. With over 2 GB memory this ultra high end board delivers high throughput for interactive visualization of large models, high-performance for real time processing of large textures and frames and enables the highest quality and resolution full-scene anti aliasing (FSAA). The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY professional graphics board is a PCI Express full-height (4.376 inches by inches) form factor dual stack board design based on the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 GPU, and is targeted as a PCI Express based high-performance scalable and flexible graphics solution for professional workstation applications. Designed to meet the requirements of the most challenging visual computing applications, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY Technologies is the first graphic board to offer quad dual link DVI display support. This allows professional users to maximize their display real estate by driving four 30 ultra-high resolution (up to 2560 x 60Hz) digital flat panels. Utilizing a single x16 PCI Express motherboard slot, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY allows SLI Frame Rendering, SLI Multiview and SLI AA mode functionality. The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 by PNY offers 1 GB of 136-pin ball grid array (BGA) GDDR3 memory per GPU (2 GB total) and supports up to four CRTs or digital flat panels. 6 Mechanical Specification The NVIDIA Quadro FX4700X2 by PNY graphic board conforms to the PCI Express (height inches by inches length) graphic add-in standard based on the NVIDIA Quadro FX4700 X2 GPU. 7 Power Specifications The NVIDIA Quadro FX4700X2 graphic board is a performance optimized high-end board. Power is taken from the PCI Express host bus and two (8 pin and 6 pin PCI express) power connectors. Without both auxiliary powers the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4700 X2 will not boot. The total input power will be 236 W maximum.
