3 LANTERNS THE HELIX SERIES When Princeton Tec set out to design our series of lanterns, the team took a long, hard look at which design elements would best serve the end user. Folding legs raise the Helix to provide a broader light dispersement; they also create a stable foundation that holds fast even on irregular surfaces. These lanterns hang from all different angles, whether you re cooking, playing cards, or getting settled in the tent. The controls are unique as well, with the Backcountry s button-free swipe control surface and the Basecamp s familiar power dial. Today, Princeton Tec makes a variety of handheld lights, from high-power spotlights to tiny lights that fit in the palm of your hand, as well as everything in between. And yes, we still make a full line of lights for divers too! TEC 1 - TEC 2 We distilled the flashlight to its essential elements. No more, no less.
