3 INTRODUCTION Using this extension you can show featured products for your online store. Our extension easy to setup and give many options for settings from admin. You can show featured products into home page within few minutes using featured product widget. You can show/hide price, add to cart button, add to wish list from admin. You can set number of products per row from admin. EXTENSION FEATURES 1. Enable/disable featured product extension in frontend. 2. You can Show/hide and change heading in frontend from admin. 3. Set featured products on CMS pages, Category Pages and Product Pages using layout code. 4. You can display all featured products or display by categories. 5. You can create widget for featured product with its options. 6. Option for display featured products in slider. 7. You can sort the featured product list by price,position and name. 8. You can change sort order of featured products. 9. Option for auto scroll products in slider. 10. You can set display number of featured products in main block. 11. You can set display number of featured products per row. 12. You can set number of product per page. 13. Show/Hide the products price, Add to cart, Add to Wish list, Add to Compare, Out of Stock Products. 14. Show/Hide navigation arrow in slider. 15. Supported multi store website. 16. 4 CONFIGURATION SETTINGS Step-1 Go to admin STORES Configuration MAGEBEES Featured Products. Step-2 Click on Settings Tab. You will get Following Screen. 4

6 Step-3 Click on Slider Settings Tab. You will get Following Screen 6

7 SETTINGS: Enabled: You can able to enable or disable this module from choosing Yes/No. Display heading: You can show/hide heading in frontend on choosing Yes/No. Heading: You can set your heading for featured Products. Add Slider For Product: On choosing yes slider will be display for featured products. Number Of Items in Main Block: For set number of featured products display in the block. Number Of Items per row in Main Block: For set number of featured products per row. Products Per Page: You can set number of product per page using comma separated value.(ex. 9,15,30) Select Featured Products Type: You can display all featured products or display by categories. Sort By: You can sort the featured product list by price,position and name. Sort Order: You can change sort order of featured products. Display Product Price: On choosing yes product price display for featured products. Display Short Description: On choosing yes product description display for featured products. Display Add to Cart: On choosing yes Add to Cart button display for featured products. Display Add to Compare: On choosing yes Add to compare link display for featured products. Display Add to Wish list: On choosing yes Add to Wish list link display for featured products. Display Out of Stock Product: On choosing yes Out of Stock products display on featured products. SLIDER SETTINGS: Auto scroll products: Select yes for auto scroll products in slider. Show navigation arrow: On choosing yes navigation arrow will display in slider. 7

8 LAYOUT SETTINGS Step-1 Go to admin STORES Configuration MAGEBEES Featured Products. Step-2 Click on Default Package Code Tab. You will get Following Screen. 8

9 XML Code: Suppose you want to use XML Tag auto generated code of featured products copy XML Tag and put it in your Theme XML layout Files [app/ design/frontend/<your package>/<your theme>/<your Module>/layout/]. For example we are putting XML Tag Block code in cms_index_index.xml file, so open Your theme cms_index_index.xml file and put following code under content area. Template Tag: If you want to display featured products in any CMS page. Go to admin CONTENT Pages.It will display list of CMS pages. It will display following screen.click on Select link for CMS page.then click on Edit. 9

10 After click on Edit it display following screen. Open Content tab and put highlighted code in editor. Call via Frontend Template File: If you want to display featured products in your template file [.phtml]. You need to just paste this at any part of your template files. For example we put Template file code in list.phtml file. 10

12 MANAGE FEATURED PRODUCTS Manually: Step-1 Go to admin PRODUCTS Inventory MageBees Featured Products. You will get the following screen. 12

15 Go to admin STORES Configurations MAGEBEES Featured Products. Go to Setting Section and Choose Yes for Add Slider for Product Option.You can see following screen. 15

16 CREATE FEATURED PRODUCT WIDGET 1) Go to admin -> CONTENT ->Widgets. 2) Click on Add Widget Button 3) For the "Type" select "Magebees::Featured Products Widget". For the "Design Theme" select "Your package/your theme" and Click on Continue Button. You will get Following Screen: 4) Set Storefront Properties for widget: o Set Widget Title. (Ex- featured) o Select the option for Assign to Store Views o Click on Add Layout Update Button. (Layout Updates Section) o For the "Display On" Select Your Choice Locations. Select "Container".If you want to display featured product on left or right sidebar then select "Container" "Sidebar Main OR Sidebar Additional". You will get Following Screen. 16

18 6) Save the widget after choose widget options. NOTE: widget configuration setting only applicable on Featured product grid template. slider settings and show/hide options settings in widget configuration not applicable for Featured Products Images and Names Template. 18

20 FAQS Q-1: I have tried to install featured product extension using terminal, but I am not able to install using command line, what are steps for custom installation of featured product extension?? NOTE: Please contact us for install our module in your store. Q-2: How to manage manually featured products storewise? Solution: Go to admin PRODUCTS Inventory MageBees Featured Products. You will get the following Screen Click on Add Featured Product button.you will get following screen.you can select store as shown in following screen, Then You can choose product using select checkbox. After click on Save Products button for save data. 20

21 Q-3: I am getting error in console for magebeesfeatured.js not found,how to solve this problem? Solution: 1. Go to admin -> SYSTEM-> Cache Management. You can see following screen. 2. Click on Flush JavaScript/Css Cache and Flush Static Files Cache Button. 3. Refresh the page in Frontend. 21
