4 Magellan HUB What does Magellan HUB do? Cloud-based platform that is mobile-enabled for your smartphone or tablet Secure access to all apps you use for work Single-sign on (SSO) so you don t have to remember user names or passwords Customize your View Click and drag tiles to a new location on the tab Click the plus sign to create a new tab and name it yourself Click and drag tiles to other tabs. Manage Settings for each Tile Hover your cursor over a tile and click the Gear icon that displays in the upper right corner of the tile. You can reveal your password, update your credentials (change your UN/PW), and rename the tile from the General tab. Find Apps Add Apps Quickly find apps already set up in Magellan HUB From the Home icon, click Add Apps. Navigate the page, or simply type the name of the app in the Search field. Click Add Remove Apps Hover your cursor over a tile and click the Gear icon. Click the General tab. Click Delete. Note: You will not have the option to delete certain apps that are part of the standard app menu. For more information regarding Magellan technology, click Click Here

5 What does Outlook do? & calendar app for mobile / desktop Powerful inbox and all-in-one calendar management Part of Microsoft Office 365 which includes a suite of productivity tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint Schedule more efficiently From the meeting invitation, click the Scheduling Assistant to see invitees availability Use the tools to quickly find an ideal time. View upcoming meetings While viewing inbox, hover over the calendar icon on the navigation bar to view upcoming appointments and meetings Remove redundant messages On the Home tab, in the Delete group, click Clean Up Click one of the following: Clean Up Conversation Clean Up Folder Clean Up Folder & Subfolders Use Contact Cards for basic data for the contact Right click on someone s name Click Open Contact Card to view their location, recent s, recent files, job title, manager and department Search more efficiently Type a word or name in the search box Narrow results by using: Quotation marks AND/OR NOT Click here to visit Outlook for Windows video training.

A mobile-enabled communication tool Magellan announcements and industry news in one place Customize content by following channels important to you Start Following Follow all the channels that interest you! There are 11 to choose from What You Missed Watch for weekly s that summarize the top announcements for the week! How to Get There Get the App Employees can access MagellanNOW through an app on their mobile device or their desktop To access the web version from your desktop, click on the MagellanNOW Okta tile Search for MagellanNOW in your Google Play or App store Save & Search Bookmark items you want to save and come back to Search for articles and information by keyword How to use MagellanNOW - YouTube Video

Collaboration tool for sharing documents Automatically save and backup files to the Cloud Increased security and privacy of files Always have access to the current version Customize shared link Click on Share Click on the Settings icon (gear) Enter custom path in Custom URL field Click Save Settings can be set at the account, folder & file level Control when to receive notifications & frequency Lock files to prevent someone from accessing while making changes Change Box home screen Real-time note taking Search more efficiently Select a folder Click on New > Box Note Select a template (optional) Highlight text in note to leave annotation Users can search by the following: o File types o Date updated o Owner o File location Favorite content for quick access Hover over item Click the ellipsis ( ) Click Favorite Look for Help inside Box > Go to the Magellan Hub group in Workplace Click here to visit Box video training.

High quality video & audio conferencing Screen sharing in real time Schedule, join, view & record meetings View / contact individuals, groups & zoom rooms Create a Zoom Group Click Contacts icon Click + Add Group Type group name and invite members Click Meet to start zoom with group Easily chat with group members Get the app on ios and Android Accessible anywhere Start/join/schedule meetings Chat will send notifications to both desktop and mobile Click here to get the link to download Breakout Rooms Share Your Screen Click Breakout Rooms Temporarily splits main meeting into submeetings for discussions Great for trainings, education, workshops, etc. Click Share Screen icon Pick the screen you d like to share TIP: clicking Pause Share keeps sharing the screen you were on even if you move to another page/screen; great when going through sensitive info Record a Meeting Record video and audio in mp4 format. Create and follow different groups and co-workers Post updates, stay connected & keep informed View company directory & org chart Create & view upcoming events Create Groups Click Create Group in Workplace Select group type, group name and group members Save your Favorites Save your favorite posts by clicking the three dots at the top of each post and selecting Save Post To view your saved posts, click the Saved icon under Explore Events Click the Events icon under Explore View your upcoming events, or create a new event To create an event, click + Create Event and add in the event name, location, date/time and description Directory View company directory and org chart by clicking the People Directory icon under Explore View job titles, departments, locations, phone numbers and org charts for Magellan coworkers Suggested Groups Find new groups by clicking the Groups icon under Explore View suggested groups, your groups and all groups! Look for Help inside Workplace Go to the Magellan Hub group in Workplace

10 What does WorkChat do? Send instant messages to both individuals & groups Attach files Start a voice call, or start video chat Create Chats Click the Messages icon Click New Group or New Message If creating a group message, name your group, choose your members, then click Create Attachments Create a new message or go to an existing message Click the icons in the Type a message field to attach files, photos, voice clips, etc. Search Conversations Open the Workchat app to view all conversations Click the Search Chats bar to search messages Type in names, phrases, words, etc. TIP: click the Search in Conversation icon to search within the current conversation Bots Click the BOTS icons in the upper right-hand corner of Workplace to start a conversation Use bots to automate repetitive tasks and increase productivity TIP: create a chat with the Zoom bot and type Start to instantly start a zoom meeting Voice & Video Calls Create a new message or go to an existing message Click the voice or video call icons to start a call or video chat Click Add People to add members Look for Help inside Workplace Go to the Magellan Hub group in Workplace

12 What does RITA do? RITA is your Responsive Information Technology Agent Order IT services, hardware/software First stop for IT requests FEATURES AND BENEFITS RITA is your first stop for IT requests: you can easily submit and manage requests. RITA is fully integrated into Magellan HUB and does not require a VPN connection. Use the RITA Workplace page that s linked right from RITA s homepage to provide the option to crowd-source questions as needed.

13 What does Workday do? Magellan s HR platform for human capital management (HCM). Supports the entire employee lifecycle recruiting, hiring, job changes, payroll, benefits, compensation, employee information, reporting & analytics the works! Keep up Announcements Related Actions Monitor your Inbox and keep it cleaned out. Monitor Notifications to be sure you don t miss anything. Pay attention to Announcements on your Workday homepage. That means you have a critical task to complete! Many screens and items in Workday have a shortcut or navigational menu called Related Actions associated with them. Look for the word Actions or the ellipsis (three dots icon). In-app Help Search You can find step by step guides and videos to help you in the Job Aids icon on the home page. The Job Aids are also embedded in each icon so it is at your fingertips when you need it. You can look up people by name to see their contact info and org chart. Depending on your role, you can also search for reports, Business Processes, etc. Workday Job Aids

14 What does VERN do? Answers to routine HR questions anytime, anywhere. Create a case to have your issue researched by an HR representative Managers create and submit cases for Employee Relations Search for your answers Type a key word or phrase into the search bar on the home screen. The search feature is responsive and will present results as you type. Create a case If you are not able to find the answer to your question in the search results, click on the Create a Case button to fill out a short online form. An HR Representative will research and reply via VERN. Check the status of your case Once you submit your case, you can check on the status by looking at the Open Cases section of your VERN page. Inside the case, use the Details tab to see the state. Use the Activity tab to view flow of the case and any comments or replies that have been added. After your case is closed, look under My Closed Cases (top of the home page). Add attachments to your case You can add documents, screenshots or pictures to your VERN case by clicking on the paperclip/attachment icon. The attachment will then be recorded in your case and viewable by the HR Representative. View suggested readings On the home page, scroll down to view the Suggested Readings. These change based on new information coming out and upcoming changes you should be aware of. Search VERN for the article, Using VERN to Answer Your HR Questions
