2 ACCEPT A TEAM SPACE INVITATION This tutorial will guide you through how to accept an invitation to a Team Space so you can start sharing documents easily and securely with your team. 1. RECEIVING A TEAM SPACE INVITATION If you are invited to join a Team Space, you will receive an and a text message on your mobile phone (see examples below). By clicking on the link "Join Team Space" (1) in the invitation you will automatically start the registration process. Make sure to have your security code (2) ready at hand as you will need it to complete the registration

3 2. ENTER THE SECURITY CODE After opening the link in the , enter the security code that you received by text message in the field provided and click "Next". 3. "CREATE AN ACCOUNT" OR "CONNECT AN EXISTING ACCOUNT" If you do not already have a SecureSafe account, choose Create new account (this is free of charge). If you have an existing SecureSafe account, simply choose Connect account and the Team Space will be integrated into your account. 4. OPEN A NEW SECURESAFE ACCOUNT To open a new SecureSafe account, fill in all the required fields in the registration form. Do not forget to enter your current mobile phone number if you want to use two-factor authentication. If you enable this function you will receive a on time security code by SMS each time you log in to your account. This code is needed to complete the login. Click "Create new account" to complete the registration process. 02

4 PRINT RECOVERY CODE As part of the high security measures at SecureSafe, we are not able to reset your password, if you forget it. However, you can reset your password at any time with your personal recovery code. We hihgly recommend that you print it now. (1) Click "Print Recovery Code". Print a copy of the PDF that downloads to your computer, then delete the PDF (using Empty trash ) and store the copy in a safe place. (2) Click "Connect account" to finish the process. 6. AUTOMATIC LOGIN You will automatically be redirected to the SecureSafe web application. The username and password fields will aleady be filled-in. If you have opted for two-factor authentication, you will need to enter the code that you receive by SMS. For future logins, use the following URL: 7. YOUR SECURESAFE ACCOUNT When you are logged in you will see two seperate tabs: My Private Safe, where you can store your personal documents and passwords (you are the only person who has access to this data). All the other tabs are for Team Spaces. You can use these to store shared team documents. Only invited members will ever have access to the documents in a Team Space. 03

5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MOBILE APPLICATIONS SecureSafe is not only available through your computer s browser, it is also accessible through our free iphone, ipad and Android apps. These apps offer you the possibility to access your data from anywhere and at anytime, whilst keeping the high level of security and privacy that characterises SecureSafe. The iphone and ipad apps can be downloaded from the itunes store and the Android app is available from the Google Play store. FILE SYNCHRONISATION Make your life easier with the SecureSafe Client for PC/Mac. The SecureSafe Client will allow you to sync all of your SecureSafe files to your local Mac or Windows computer. This makes it even easier for you to work with and share files that are stored in your SecureSafe and to keep them in sync at all times. With the SecureSafe Client, you and your team no longer need to download files from SecureSafe to work with them, then upload them to save your changes. Simply edit files directly from your PC or Mac and all changes will automatically be synced to your SecureSafe, so all team members can see them instantaneourly no matter where they are.
