5 Logging into SimStore Logging into SimStore This section explains how to access SimStore. To log into SimStore 1. Go to The SimStore login page appears. Note: If you ve been given a unique SimStore Web address for your organization, log in from that address. 2. Click the Login link. The Credentials Verification page appears. August

6 Logging into SimStore Note: First time users of the public login page will be directed to the Select Your Institution page. See the Selecting Your SimStore Institution help topic. If you have previously logged into SimStore, but you want to log into a new or different institution, click the Sign in with a different institution link and follow the procedures for selecting your SimStore institution. If your organization is not represented in SimStore, click the My Organization is not listed link to create a new account. 3. Enter your user ID in the User ID field. 4. Enter your password in the Password field. 5. Click the Login button. The SimStore Home page appears. If you have forgotten your password 1. Click the Forgot Your Password? link. The SimCenter Password Reset page appears. 2. Enter your user ID in the User ID field. If you have forgotten your user ID, contact your administrator. 3. Click Submit. You will receive an with a new temporary password. August

7 Logging into SimStore If you are new to SimCenter Click the New to SimCenter? Request a User ID link. You will be directed to contact your administrator, or SimCenter customer service at: For SimStore customer service in the U.S.: Phone: support@simstore.com Hours of support: Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8pm Eastern Time and Saturday from 10am until 6pm Eastern Time. For SimStore customer service outside the U.S.: Requests should be directed to your local Laerdal support organization. To find your local Laerdal office, go to and select your country. August

8 Selecting Your SimStore Institution Selecting Your SimStore Institution The first time you access SimStore, or if you wish to log into a different institution than the one that you previously logged into, you will be asked to identify for institution within the system. Note: If you ve been given a unique SimStore Web address for your organization, your institution will be pre-selected for you when you access SimStore from that address. To select your institution 1. Go to The SimStore login page appears. 2. Click the Login button. The Select Your Institution page appears if you are a new user. The Enter Your Credentials page appears if you are a returning user. If returning, click the Sign in with a different institution link to view the Select Your Institution page. August

9 Selecting Your SimStore Institution 3. Enter the name of your institution of your Laerdal Customer ID in the Institution field and click. Your search return will appear below the institution name field. You can also filter your search by country and/or state or province. 4. Click the name of your institution. The Enter Your Credentials page appears. 5. Proceed with login to SimStore. See Logging into SimStore in this document. August

10 Adding a New SimStore User Adding a New SimStore User Three types of SimStore users can be added to your SimStore account: Purchaser, User, and Super User. Only super users can add other users to the account. Purchasers The Purchaser role is intended to allow control over the ordering process within your organization. A purchaser can perform all the same functions as a user with the addition of the following rights: Make purchases on account or by credit card. Request a quote for purchase. View and manage order history. Users The User role is designed for individuals who will search SimStore content, create content wish lists, and then coordinate with the purchaser to purchase licenses. Users can: Browse SimStore and add products to a cart. Create and send wish lists to Purchasers. View support materials for purchased scenarios. Access practice licenses for purchased scenarios. product information to colleagues. Rate & review purchased products. Super Users The Super User role is designed for individuals who will manage your organization s SimStore account. A super user can perform all the functions of a user and purchaser, with the addition of the following: Create new users. Manage user access. Register devices. Allocate content to registered devices. To add a new SimStore User 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Click My Users. The User Management page appears. 4. Click Add New User in the lower left-hand corner of the User Management page. The Manage User Profile page appears. August

11 Adding a New SimStore User 5. Enter the following information: First name Last name address User ID Password Confirm password 6. Select the check box(es) to designate the SimStore user role(s). 7. Click Save & Exit. The page refreshes to display the User Management page with the newly added user. August

12 Managing Your SimStore Users Managing Your SimStore Users SimStore super users can manage other users within their organization. To manage SimStore Users 1. Log into the SimStore as a super user. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Click My Users. The User Management page appears, displaying a list of current SimStore users at your organization, including: Last Name First Name Institution Role Using Advanced Filtering Advanced filtering is enabled by default. To use advanced filtering 1. Enter your search criteria into the desired field(s). 2. Select the desired filter criteria for each field: Contains Starts With Ends With Equal To (only option available for Order Date column) The page refreshes to display data meeting your filtered search criteria. Note: If you do not wish to use advanced filtering, click the No radio button to the right of Show Advanced Filtering at the top right of the Users table. Clicking No removes the advanced filters from the page. Note: Multiple pages can be accessed by using the forward, back, beginning and end arrow buttons. You can also select the number of items per page using the Page Size drop-down menu. To edit an existing user 1. Click the Edit link to the right of the user whose profile you wish to edit. 2. Make desired edits to the user profile. 3. Click Save & Exit. You are returned to the User Management page. To reset a user s password 1. Click Edit to the right of the user s information on the My Users page. The Manage User Profile page appears. 2. Delete encrypted characters from Password field. 3. Type in a new password. 4. Delete encrypted characters from the Confirm Password field. 5. Retype the new password into the Confirm Password field. 6. Click Reset Password. August

13 Managing Your SimStore Users To delete a SimStore User 1. Click Edit to the right of the user s information on the My Users page. The Manage User Profile page appears. 2. Click Delete. A confirmation prompt appears. 3. Click OK. August

14 Overview of SimStore Home Page Overview of SimStore Home Page After you have logged into SimStore, you will be directed to the SimStore Home page. From the Home page you can: View the Welcome banner and click to view the overview videos. Search for SimStore products. See Searching for a SimStore Product in this document. Click to view products by training discipline. Click the SimDeveloper tab at the top of the page (if you are currently a registered SimDeveloper) to access your SimDeveloper account. Click the Support tab at the top of the page to access information about support for SimStore purchases. Click the Help tab at the top of the page to access online help. Click the Account tab to view and manage your account information. Account information includes: o o o o o My Content My Devices My Users (Super User only) My Wish Lists My Order History Click at the top of the page to access your SimStore shopping cart. August

16 Searching for a SimStore Product Searching for a SimStore Product There are two methods you can use to search for a SimStore product: search using the search field or search using search filters. To search for a SimStore product using the search field 1. Log into SimStore. The SimStore Home page appears. 2. Place your curser in the Enter Search Term field on the left-hand side of the page. 3. Enter a search term. By default, searched containing multiple words will return results with those words in any order. Enclosing search terms in quotation marks will return results which contain the exact phrase match. For example. A search for acute severe asthma will return results that contain the phrase acute severe asthma, but will not return pages that contain the phrase severe acute asthma. August

17 Searching for a SimStore Product 4. Click. Products matching your search return appear. 5. If desired, sort your search return by selecting a new sort order from the drop-down window in the upper right-hand corner. Options include: Top Results (default) Top Sellers Top Rated Products (A to Z) Recently Added Products The page will refresh, displaying the new sort order. 6. Click the name link of a product displayed in the search return to view product details. See Reviewing SimStore Product Details in this document. August

18 Searching for a SimStore Product To search for a SimStore product using search filters 1. Click the name link of the filter type you wish to use from the Filtered Search box on the left-hand side of the page. A box will appear listing all product types related to that filter. 2. Select the desired check box(es) to the left of the product types you wish to find in your search. 3. Click Submit. Products matching your filtered search appear. 4. If desired, sort your search return by selecting a new sort order from the drop-down window in the upper right-hand corner. Options include: Top Results (default) Top Sellers Top Rated Products (A to Z) Recently Added Products The page will refresh, displaying the new sort order. August

19 Searching for a SimStore Product 5. Click the name link of a product displayed in the search return to view product details. 6. If you wish to conduct another filtered search, click Reset at the bottom of the filtered search box to collapse all expanded product type boxes. August

20 Device Management Overview Device Management Overview The Device Management page provides a listing of all registered devices, as well as access to register a new device. To view the Device Management page 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Select My Devices from the drop-down menu. The Device Management page appears, displaying the Registered Devices table. Information includes: Device Name (hyperlinked) For additional information, see Registered Device Details Overview. Institution Location Simulator Type Allocated Scenarios Last Updated By Edit (hyperlink) See Editing or Deleting a Registered Device. Note: The Register a New Device button also appears on the page. See Registering a New Device in this document for additional information. 4. Click the name link of a device to view registered device details or manage the device. For additional information, see Registered Device Details Overview in this document. 5. Click the Edit link to edit device details or delete the device. See Editing or Deleting a Registered Device in this document. August

21 Device Management Overview Using Advanced Filtering Advanced filtering is available to further refine your Registered Devices table. To use advanced filtering 1. Click the Yes radio button to the right of Show Advanced Filtering. Filter fields appear for Product Name, Expiration Date, Allocation Status, and Download Status columns. 2. Enter your search criteria into the desired field(s). 3. 22 Registering a New Device Registering a New Device Devices (the instructor application or simulator software) must be registered to your SimStore account. There are three ways to register a new device: From an instructor application that is online. By exporting the device key of an offline instructor application to a thumb drive or other portable media storage device, and then browsing for the device key through SimStore. By typing the device key from an online or offline instructor application into the Device Key field. Note: This is the least desired method. From an Online Instructor Application 1. Open the instructor application on your online computer. 2. Click Start Scenario. 3. Click SimStore. 4. Click SimStore Options. The SimStore Options page appears. 5. Click Register Device at SimStore. If you are not already logged into SimStore, the login page will appear. Once logged in, the Register a New Device page appears, with the device key visible in the Device Key File field. 6. Enter the device location. 7. Enter the device name. 8. Click Register Device. The device will now appear in the Registered Devices table on the Device Management page. By Exporting the Device Key from an Offline Instructor Application 1. Open the instructor application on your offline computer. 2. Click Start Scenario. 3. Click SimStore. 4. Click SimStore Options. The SimStore Options page appears. 5. Click the Click here to export device key link. 6. Save the device key to a thumb drive (device_key.txt) or other portable media storage device. 7. Log into SimStore from your online computer. 8. Insert the thumb drive into your online computer. 9. Click Account. 10. Click My Devices. The Device Management page appears. 11. Click Register a New Device. The Register a New Device page appears. 12. Click Browse. Browse for the device key file on the thumb drive. 13. Click Load Device Key. 14. Enter the device location. 15. Enter the device name. 16. Click Register Device. The device will now appear in the Registered Devices table on the Device Management page. August

23 Registering a New Device By Typing the Device Key into the Device Key Field (not recommended) 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Click Account. 3. Click My Devices. The Device Management page appears. 4. Click Register a New Device. The Register a New Device page appears. 5. Type the device key into the Device Key field. 6. Enter the device location. 7. Enter the device name. 8. Click Register Device. The device will now appear in the Registered Devices table on the Device Management page. August

24 Registered Device Details Overview Registered Device Details Overview To manage your SimStore device 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Click Account. 3. Select My Devices. The Device Management page appears. For additional information about searching and filtering devices, see Device Management Overview in this document. 4. Click the name link of the device you wish to view details of or further manage. The Registered Device Details page appears. Information includes: Device Name Device Location Simulator Type Allocate Scenario to Device button When clicked, you are redirected to the Content Management page where licenses can be allocated. See Allocating a Scenario License for additional information about allocating licenses. August

25 Registered Device Details Overview Download to Offline Device button Used when purchased content is allocated to an offline device. See Purchased Content Details Overview. 26 Editing or Deleting a Registered Device Editing or Deleting a Registered Device To edit a registered Device 1. Log into your SimStore account. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Click My Devices. The Device Management page appears. 4. Click the Edit link to the right of the device you wish to edit. The Edit Device Details page appears. 5. Change the Device Name, if desired. 6. Change the Device Location, if desired. 7. Click Save Changes. To delete a registered device 1. Log into your SimStore account. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Click My Devices. The Device Management page appears. 4. Click the Edit link to the right of the device you wish to edit. The Edit Device Details page appears. 5. Click Delete Device. A confirmation prompt appears. 6. Click OK. Note: You cannot delete a registered device to which allocations or downloads are associated. August

27 Reviewing SimStore Product Details Reviewing SimStore Product Details Once you have clicked on the product name link from the product search return, you can review product details. August

28 Reviewing SimStore Product Details Product details include: Product Overview Displays the product name and overview information, as well as the current customer rating (based upon a possible five stars). The Refer Product link allows you to forward information about this link to a colleague. See the Referring a SimStore Product help topic. Additional Information Includes product learning objectives and product details. Ratings and Reviews In addition to the star ratings, you can read reviews written by other product users. Related Products Similar or complementary products are presented on the page and are hyperlinked to additional information about those related products. Licensing Options See additional information below on licensing options. Pricing See additional information below on pricing. Free Trial Allows one-time, 24-hour access to a free trial of the SimStore product. Users must agree to the Trial Terms of Use. During the trial period, the user will have full access to the scenario during the trial period. Note: One free trial is available per organization for each scenario product. Free trials are not available for non-scenario products. Add to Cart allows you to place the product in your cart for purchase. See the Adding a Product to Your SimStore Shopping Cart help topic. Add to Wish List allows you to add the product to your list for future review and purchase. See the Adding a Wish List help topic. Volume Discounts Displays the discounts available based upon the 1st, 2nd and 3 rd licenses purchased for a single SimStore product. In addition to viewing the detailed information about the selected product, you can search for additional products using the search functionality on the left-hand side of the page. See the Searching for a SimStore Product help topic. Licensing Options There are two types of licenses available for SimStore scenario products: Capital License: A Capital License is typically purchased from the customer s capital budget. It gives a customer the right to use a scenario product for an unlimited period of time and for an unlimited number of times. If an update is made to the product, customers with a Capital License will receive the update if it falls within one year from the purchase date. After that timeframe, the customer will keep the existing version of the product without future updates. In addition, Customer Service will support a Capital License for a period of 5 years from the purchase date. Annual License: An Annual License is typically purchased from the customer s operating budget. It gives a customer the right to use a scenario product for a period of one year from the purchase date, for an unlimited number of times. If an update is made to the product, customers with a valid Annual License will receive the update. Customer Service will support an Annual License as long as it is active. At the end of the Annual License period, customers will receive a message from SimStore, alerting them to their expiring license and providing instruction on how to extend the license. Note: Some products may only be available with a Capital or Annual License, not both. Non-scenario products are not sold by license. August

29 Reviewing SimStore Product Details Pricing The pricing calculation area displays the following: List Price - Does not change when the license or quantity changes; it always displays the price of a single quantity. Savings per Unit This is the average savings per unit, after applicable discounts. Price per Unit The average price the customer pays for each unit, after applicable discounts. Total Price The total price the customer pays for this order. Note: Tax will only appear on the Checkout page. To content information to a colleague 1. Click the to a Colleague link from the SimStore product details page or the Purchased Content Details page. 2. In the Your Name text box, enter your name. Note: The system will enter the name attached to your user ID by default. 3. In the Colleague s Name text box, enter your colleague s name. 4. In the Colleague s text box, enter your colleague s address. 5. In the Message text area, type a message to your colleague. 6. Click Submit. An will be sent to your colleague. 7. Click Continue Shopping to return to the Product Details page. August

31 Adding a Product to Your SimStore Shopping Cart Adding a Product to Your SimStore Shopping Cart If you wish to purchase a SimStore product, you must add the product to your shopping cart. To add a product to your cart 1. In Choose License Type, select the licensing option, if available. 2. In the Quantity box, enter how many you would like to purchase. 3. Click Update Pricing to view the estimated price based upon quantity. August

32 Adding a Product to Your SimStore Shopping Cart 4. Click Add to Cart. The Shopping Cart page appears, displaying the product that you just added. Product information displayed includes: Product Name List Price Price per Unit Savings per Unit Quantity Total A Remove link is available to the left of the product you added if you wish to remove the item from your shopping cart. 5. Click Update Cart if adding a new product to a cart that already includes other items. 6. If you have a promotional code, enter it in the Promo Code text box and click Apply to recalculate the total. 7. If you have added all desired products to your cart, click Checkout to complete your purchase. See the Checking Out of SimStore help topic. 8. Click Continue Shopping to return to the SimStore search. You can add more products to your shopping cart as desired. August

34 Requesting a Quote Requesting a Quote If you are a Laerdal customer, you can request a quote from your SimStore cart. To request a quote 1. Click Request Quote from the Shopping Cart page. A prompt will appear confirming that you wish to continue. 2. Click Yes Request Quote to proceed. Click No Return to Cart if you do not wish to request a quote. A summary page appears that includes: Your address Today s date Quote request ID Laerdal customer ID A summary of products in your shopping cart 3. Click Print this Page if you wish to print a copy of the Request a Quote page for your records. 4. Click Continue Shopping once you have reviewed your quote request and have printed the page or sent additional s, as desired. To copies of the quote request to others 1. Enter one or more addresses (separated by commas) into the address window. 2. Click Send . Note: It is not necessary to add your own address here. The system will automatically send you a Request a Quote . The request is also automatically sent to customerservice@laerdal.com. August

35 Checking Out of SimStore Checking Out of SimStore To complete your SimStore purchase, first review all selections in your shopping cart. To remove a product from your shopping cart Click the Remove link to the left of the product name. The product is removed. To change the quantity of a product 1. Delete the current quantity from the Quantity box and enter the desired quantity. 2. Click Update Cart. The page refreshes to display updated purchase pricing based upon the edited quantity. August

36 Checking Out of SimStore To enter a Promo Code 1. In the Promo Code text box, enter the promotional code exactly as it is written. 2. Click Apply. The page refreshes to display updated purchase pricing based upon the promotion. To complete your purchase 1. Click Checkout. The page refreshes to display the Checkout page. Included at the bottom of the page is a summary of purchases and pricing. 2. Select payment type: On Account, Credit Card Payment, or Points (if available). Note: The Points payment option is available only if points are available to your account. A points balance is ed to you when points are added to your account. If using a credit card, enter the credit card number, security code (found on back of card) and expiration date. If using an existing account, enter a Purchase Order Number. 3. Click the Terms and Conditions link to review purchase terms, which displays in a secondary window. 4. Close the window when you are finished reviewing the terms and conditions. 5. Select the check box to signify that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions. 6. Enter your billing address information in the Billing Address fields, if not already entered. 7. Click Purchase. Once the purchase is complete, the Order Receipt page appears. 8. Click the SKU number hyperlink or the Manage Your Content button to access the Content Management page. 9. Click Print to print of copy of the purchase receipt. Note: If you chose Points as your payment type, a statement of your points balance is ed to you after your transaction is complete. If the order value exceeds your available points balance, you will be invoiced for the remaining value. August

37 Wish Lists Wish Lists If desired, you can create multiple wish lists. Each wish list can represent, for example, specific training audiences, product types or year of planned purchase. Wish lists can be accessed and managed at any time. Accessing Your Wish Lists To access your wish lists 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Click the Account tab. 3. Click My Wish Lists. The Wish Lists page appears. The Wish List page contains: The wish list drop-down menu. Add Wish List button Edit Wish List button Delete Wish List button Detailed display of selected wish list, with the ability to: o Add to Cart o Remove from Wish List o Wish List o Continue Shopping returns to SimStore Home page. Each of the above features is described in detail below. August

38 Wish Lists Adding a Wish List To add a wish list 1. Click Add Wish List. The Save and Add to New Wish List page appears. 2. In the Wish List box, enter the name of the wish list. 3. In the Description box, enter a description of the wish list, if desired. 4. Click Save & Add. The page defaults to the previous wish list, if one exists, with the new wish list available from the wish list drop-down menu. August

39 Wish Lists Editing a Wish List To edit a wish list 1. Select the wish list you want to edit from the wish list drop-down menu. The page refreshes to display the selected wish list. 2. Click Edit Wish List. The page refreshes to display the wish list in edit mode. 3. Edit the wish list name and/or description. 4. Click Save Wish List. August

40 Wish Lists Deleting a Wish List To delete a wish list 1. Select the wish list you want to delete from the wish list drop-down menu. The page refreshes to display the selected wish list. 2. Click Delete Wish List. A confirmation prompt appears. 3. Click OK. The page refreshes and the wish list is removed from the wish list drop-down menu. August

41 Wish Lists Working with the Detailed Wish List Display The detailed wish list display, shown below, includes the following: Product Name Description (of product) Quantity Price License (type) Using Advanced Filtering Advanced filtering is available to further refine your detailed wish list display table. 45 Wish Lists Adding a Product to Your Wish List From the product details page, you can add a product to your wish list for future review and purchase. To add a product to your wish list 1. Log into SimStore. 2. Search for desired products. 3. Click the product icon to view the product details. 4. Click Add to Wish List. The Add To Wish List page appears. 5. Click the Wish List drop-down to select an existing wish list to add the product to. Note: If desired, you can create a new wish list at this time. See information below about adding a new wish list. 6. Click Continue. The product will be added to the selected wish list. If desired, you can create multiple wish lists. Each wish list can represent, for example, specific training audiences, product types or year of planned purchase. August

46 Wish Lists Adding a New Wish List when Adding a Product to Your Wish List You can also create a new wish list if you click Add to Wish List and you do not yet have any wish lists created. To add a new wish list 1. Click Add Wish List from the Add To Wish List page. The Add To Wish List page appears. 2. In the Name box, enter a name for the wish list. 3. In the Description box, enter a description of the wish list, if desired. 4. Click Add Wish List. The page refreshes and the new wish list appears, including the product added. The new wish list is also now available from the Wish List drop-down menu. Note: Wish lists can be managed immediately upon creating them, or can be accessed later from the My Wish Lists option of the Account tab. 51 Purchased Content Details Overview Viewing Support Materials Support Materials are an integral part of a SimStore scenario product, providing instructors with the document to prepare for & run their scenario. Created by the developing organization, support materials provide information about set-up and preparation for the scenario, learning objectives, student information, debriefing points, and more. The support materials can be accessed anytime from SimStore but can also be seen in the Simulator Instructor Application when a scenario is downloaded. All SimStore scenario products come with free, unlimited access to support materials. To view content support materials from the SimStore 1. Click the View Support Materials button. The support materials viewer opens in a secondary window. 2. Click each tab in the viewer to display the materials. Note: If support materials are printable, a Print icon will appear to the right of the tabs. To view support materials from the instructor application 1. Select the scenario you wish to run. 2. Click View on the top menu bar. 3. Click Support Material View. The support materials viewer opens in a secondary window. 4. Click each tab in the viewer to display the materials. 52 Purchased Content Details Overview Downloading a Practice License A Practice License for a scenario product is run from a Laerdal Simulator Instructor Application. The purpose of a scenario Practice License is to help an instructor to prepare for a simulation by allowing the scenario to be run on a computer that is not connected to a simulator, such as a personal laptop. If a user attempts to connect the computer to a simulator the practice license scenario will not run the simulator functions. All SimStore scenario products come with free, unlimited access to Practice Licenses. To download a practice license 1. Click the downward chevron that appears next to the Practice License header. 2. Click the Get Practice License button. 3. Click Save in the popup box to save the license in the desired location. Managing Content Allocations Each content license must be allocated to a registered device. The Content Allocations table on the purchased product details page provides allocation functionality. The table displays one line for each content license, and includes: Expiration Date Note: An expiration date appears for annual licenses only. Capital licenses will display N/A in this column. Allocated To Drop-down selection of available registered devices. Allocations button Used to create allocation once Allocated To selection is made. Synchronized with Registered device to which product is currently synchronized. Instructions Displays next step required to use the content. Last Updated Date of most recent allocation activity for this content. Advanced filtering is available to further refine your Content Allocations table. 53 Purchased Content Details Overview Allocating a Scenario License To allocate a scenario to this device 1. Click the Allocate To drop-down menu to select the device you wish to allocate each license to. 2. Click Allocate. The page will refresh, and a green check mark will indicate that the allocation was successful. 3. Once allocated, you must download the allocated scenario to your device. Online device: See procedure below. Offline device: See procedure below. Downloading to an Online Device 1. Open the Laerdal Instructor Application. 2. Click Start Scenario. 3. Click SimStore. 4. Click SimStore Options. 5. Click Synchronize with SimStore. Downloading to an Offline Device 1. Click Account. 2. Click My Devices. The Device Management page appears. 3. Click the name of the device to which you allocated the scenario. The Registered Device Details page appears. 4. Click Download to Offline Device. 5. Export the scenario to a thumb drive. 6. Insert the thumb drive into the PC to which the offline instructor application is installed. 7. Open the Laerdal Instructor Application. 8. Click SimStore. 9. Click SimStore Options. 10. Click the Import Offline Content button. A popup window appears, allowing you to search for the thumb drive on which the scenario is saved. 11. Select the scenario file from the thumb drive and click Open. August

54 Purchased Content Details Overview Releasing an Allocated Scenario License To release an allocated scenario 1. Click the Allocate To drop-down menu to select Not Allocated for the license you wish to release from allocation. The page will refresh and the Allocate button will become enabled. 2. Click Allocate. The page will refresh, and a green check mark will indicate that the allocation was successfully released. Note: You cannot release an allocated scenario license from an offline device once the license has been downloaded. Moving License Allocations from One Registered Device to Another Licenses can only be used with one registered device at a time. Once a license has been allocated and downloaded to a registered device, it must be moved if you wish to make it available to another device. A license that has been released from its previous registered device, can be allocated to another device, HOWEVER, the former device must be re-synchronized to SimStore to recognize the allocation release, and then the new device must be synchronized with the SimStore to recognize the new allocation. To re-synchronize the former device 1. Open the Instructor Application software. 2. Click Start Scenario. 3. Click SimStore. 4. Click SimStore Options. 5. Click Synchronize with SimStore. Note: You cannot move a license allocation from an offline device. August
