4 1. GENERAL SETUP 1.1 Check successful completion of provisioning 1. Log on to the SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit using this URL: 2. Click on the global account that was used to order SAP Subscription Billing. 3. Choose Entitlements in the navigation panel. 4. Check whether SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud is displayed (former product name of SAP Subscription Billing). If it is not displayed, please contact your local SAP contact. 4

5 1.2 Create a tenant (subaccount) Subaccounts are created to deploy applications and use services on SAP Cloud Platform. Once you have created a new subaccount, you see a tile for it in the Global Accounts view, and you are automatically assigned to it as an administrator. 1. Click on Home. 2. Click on your global account. 3. From your global account, choose Subaccounts in the navigation panel. 5

6 4. Click New Subaccount. 5. Specify a display name for your subaccount. Enter a short description. Select the environment Cloud Foundry. Select the provider Amazon Web Services (AWS). Select your region. Enter a name for your subdomain. The subdomain that you specify can be any string and becomes part of the URL that is used to access subscribed applications. The format of this URL follows the pattern: <subdomain>.<application>.cf apps.<host> The subdomain can contain only lowercase letters and digits and must be unique within your global account. (Optional) To use beta features in the subaccount, select Enable beta features. Click Create. 6

Now you should see a tile for your subaccount on the Subaccounts page. 1.3 Subscribe to SAP Subscription Billing To be able to use the SAP Subscription Billing software, you need to subscribe to the application for your subaccount. 1. Open your subaccount and accept the Data Protection and Privacy addendum that appears. 2. Click on I have read and agree to these terms and then on I Agree. 7

8 3. Choose Subscriptions in the navigation panel. 4. You see an overview of purchased applications. 5. Under SaaS Applications, click on the SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud tile (former product name of SAP Subscription Billing). 8

9 6. On the Overview screen, click Subscribe. 7. The status is initially Processing. 8. The status should soon change to Subscribed. 9

10 2. CLOUD FOUNDRY SETUP 2.1 Enable Cloud Foundry 1. Click on your subaccount. 2. Choose Overview in the navigation panel. 3. Click Enable Cloud Foundry. 4. Specify an organization name. 10

11 5. Click Create. 6. After you have enabled Cloud Foundry your screen should look like this: 2.2 Assign entitlement quotas Your SAP Cloud Platform global account has entitlements to use resources, such as services and memory. You distribute quotas of these entitlements to your individual subaccounts to define the maximum consumption for each. 1. Go back to your global account. 2. Choose Entitlements in the navigation panel. 11

12 3. You see a list of all the resources you are entitled to use. 4. Click Edit. 5. Use the + and buttons to adjust quotas within the specified limits. 12

13 6. When you have finished adjusting quotas, the settings should look similar to this: 7. Click Save. You can adjust quotas for only one subaccount at a time. To adjust quotas for multiple subaccounts, complete the changes for a single subaccount, save your changes and click on Edit again to continue with another subaccount. If you have distributed the maximum of your purchased quotas, you cannot increase it further. However, you can move quotas between subaccounts in the same global account: 13

14 2.3 Create a space The Cloud Foundry environment uses spaces, created within subaccounts, to allow you to deploy applications or services. You need to create at least one space for integration and development using the SAP Subscription Billing APIs. 1. Choose Subaccounts in the navigation panel. 2. Choose the subaccount that contains the Cloud Foundry organization in which you'd like to create a space. Subaccounts and orgs have a 1:1 relationship. They have the same name and therefore also the same navigation level in the cockpit. 3. Choose Spaces in the navigation panel. 14

15 4. Click New Space. 5. Enter a space name and select the permissions you'd like to assign to your user ID, then click Save. 6. The space looks like this: 15

16 3. ENABLE API ACCESS 3.1 Create a service instance 1. Navigate to the space in which you want to create a service instance. 2. Click on the tile for your space. 3. Choose Services -> Service Marketplace in the navigation panel. All services available to you appear. 16

17 4. Click on the service SAP Hybris Revenue Cloud (former product name of SAP Subscription Billing). 5. Choose Instances in the navigation panel. 6. Click New Instance. 7. Choose a service plan from the dropdown list, then click Next. 17

18 8. Specify a JSON file or specify parameters in JSON format. This JSON file contains all scopes: 9. If you've already deployed an application that you want to bind to the new service instance, choose it from the list and click Next. 18

20 3.2 Create a service key 1. Click on Home. 2. Click on your global account. 3. Click on Subaccounts. 20

21 4. Click on your subaccount. 5. Choose Spaces in the navigation panel. 6. Click on your space. 21

22 7. Choose Services > Service Instances in the navigation panel. 8. Click on the name of the newly added API service instance. 9. Choose Service Keys in the navigation panel. 22

23 10. Click Create Service Key. 11. Enter a name for the service key and click Save. 12. Now you should see your service key. The service key contains the following: URL of the application URL of the service Client ID Client secret This information is needed to create an OAuth 2.0 token for accessing SAP Subscription Billing APIs.
