3 1. Intrductin 1.1. Purpse This dcument is a User Guide fr Prduct Grid mdule fr Magent. It describes hw wrk with the extensin. Prduct Grid prvides advanced management f the prducts in bulk. 2. Installatin and License 2.1. System Requirements The extensin wrks under Magent frm 1.4.x and higher. The extensin wrks with Apache 1.3.x and higher, PHP 5, Linux r IIS. The extensin s crrect wrk is guaranteed with the fllwing brwsers: IE7, IE8, IE9 FireFx 4.x, 5.x Ggle Chrme 15.x Safari 5.x The crrect wrk with ther Magent versins, ther brwsers and Apache/PHP versins is nt guaranteed Installatin All ur Magent extensins and templates are installed via ITris Installer. Dwnlad ITris Installer frm here and un-pack t the rt f yur website. It will then appear in menu System >ITris extensins > ITris Installer. Open it and yu will see all ur Magent Extensins and Templates, bth installed and available. Yu can install, update and un-install them with ne click nw. Find Prduct Grid in the list f extensins and press Install buttn. It will ask fr the license key that yu will receive after the purchase. Enter the key and submit. The extensin will be installed. It will be available in menu System >ITris extensins > Advanced Prduct Grid.

4 2.3. License Prduct Grid mdule has 2 types f licenses - regular and premium nes. Regular license is website-dependent. By website here we understand the website in Magent terms. Under ne Magent installatin ne license key f the extensin can activate all stres/streviews within ne website. Mdules with regular license are partially encrypted. If yur cnfiguratin has several Magent websites - a separate license will be required fr each. Premium license prvides 100% pen-surce mdules. It allws activating the whle Magent installatin, including all its websites, stres/streviews. Premium license is recmmended when yu plan custmizatins. Yu can switch the license frm ne website t anther lgin t using the credentials yu will receive after the purchase. G t My Dwnlads area, find yur key there and reset it frm the current website. Then use it again t activate anther website. Bth licenses als include free life-time updates fr the extensin. 3. Hw t Use 3.1. Activatin T enable the mdule select System >ITris extensins > Advanced Prduct Grid Extensin Enabled - this setting activates the mdule There is ability t select its wn set f settings fr stres/streviews (use Chse Stre View drp-dwn) Advanced Prduct Grid Once the mdule has been enabled - standard prduct management is substituted with advanced prduct grid. T manage the prducts nw please select Catalg -> Manage Prducts New features are added t prduct management there as well as existing functinality enhanced.

5 There is a new buttn Cnfigure Prduct Grid that allws managing the lk and functinality f the prducts table General Optins When Cnfigure Prduct Grid buttn is pressed - there is ability t cnfigure general ptins t meet yur preferences. Shw Cnfiguratin Scpe This setting allws display/hide cnfiguratin scpe (ability t select t which websites/stres/streviews the functinality will be applied t) When the setting is disabled, the scpe is nt displayed.

6 Allw Inline Edit With this setting yu can change the prducts attributes and prperties directly in the table with the list f prducts. When the setting is enabled - click n a field and it becmes editable. If the setting is disabled - standard Magent prduct editing is available nly (prduct page shuld be pened fr editing). Enable Attribute Filter This setting activates/remves attribute filter fr the prducts list.

7 Allw Rerder Grid Clumns When this setting is enabled - yu can drag prducts clumns t change their display rder. T d this click a clumn s title and drag it t a new place. Drp it there. Allw Actins If this setting is disabled - ability t apply bulk actins t selected prducts tgether will disappear. Default Srting This settings allws defining hw srting shuld be applied by default. The fllwing ptins are available: ID Name SKU Price Qty Status Type If this setting is disabled, then standard Magent srting is applied Allw Bulk Optin Apply This setting adds a new ptin t the bulk actins - attribute bulk apply. Please nte, this setting becmes available nly when Allw Actins setting is active. The new ptin allws changing an attribute f all selected prducts in bulk. Fr example, price r quantity. Select the prducts that will have an attribute updated in bulk and check them, then select actins = attribute bulk apply.

8 A new field will appear where yu will select the attribute, then in anther new field enter a new attribute s value and submit. New value will be applied t all selected prducts. Srting Order Select if the srting rder (chsen in Default Srting) shuld be descending r ascending Shw Attributes The fllwing area in Prduct Grid Cnfiguratin is Shw Attributes. In this area select the attributes that shuld be displayed in the prducts list. Apart frm attributes there are system values that can be selected/deselected fr display as well: ID Qty Categries Website Prduct Type Attribute Set Name

9 Check the attributes and system values that yu want t be displayed in the prducts list and press Apply Cnfiguratin buttn. The table will be changed t display the values/attributes. If yu want a default set f values/attributes t be returned - press Reset t Default buttn, the default set will be returned t the table.
