2 Finding the Correct Grant Application Link 1) Go to for a list of BIM funded schemes for the seafood industry. 2) Select the scheme you are interested in by clicking on the link under the heading in the first column. For Example: Seafood Training Scheme Version 1.0 Page 2 of 10

3 3) The link will bring you to a page with details about the scheme, who is eligible, what is funded, the amount that can be granted, how to apply, any specific criteria and BIM contact details. There will also be an Apply online link under How to Apply if on-line applications are set up for that scheme. 4) Click the Apply Online link and you will be brought to the BIM Grants Portal: Version 1.0 Page 3 of 10

4 BIM Grants Portal Registering: 1) If you have never applied for a BIM Grant through the Portal before, you must first Register. Click the Register Button under Get Involved. 2) When you click on the Register button you will be directed to the BIM Data Protection Notice and Policy. At the end of the page you must click Yes beside I agree with the terms and conditions in order to proceed with registration. Then click Continue. Version 1.0 Page 4 of 10

6 3) You will then be taken to the BIM Registration Page where you fill in your contact details (first name, last name, contact phone number, and password) and then click Register. 4) You will be brought to the Register confirmation page: 5) Go to your account and open the registration confirmation and click on the link to activate your account. 7 Logging into the BIM Grants Portal Page 1) Login to your account on the BIM Grants Portal Homepage using your address and password: C 2) Once logged in go to the blue bar in the middle of the screen and Select a scheme to start an application. When you click on the search bar a drop-down menu of available on-line applications will appear. Select the Grant Scheme that you would like to apply for. Alternatively, if you have already started an application, click on My applications on the bottom left of the screen. Version 1.0 Page 7 of 10

8 My Applications 1) When you click on my applications, you can start a new application under Start a new application by clicking the Start button or if you have already started an application you can continue editing by clicking the Resume button under Applications in progress. My Contact Details Edit your contact details 1) Use the My contact details on the left of the screen to edit your contact details and the My Organisation button to edit your organisation details. 9 My Account: Change your password 1) You can use the My account button on the left of the screen to change your password at any time. 2) To change your password click on the Change password link under Update my user account details. Enter your old password and then the new password you would like to change it to. Confirm the new password and click Save. Note: the new password must be at least 7 characters with 1 number. Once you hit save, your password will be automatically reset and you will remain on the My account page. Note: A green bar will appear at the top of the page saying Saved successfully to indicate that the password has been changed. Version 1.0 Page 9 of 10

10 Getting back to start an application or resume an existing one 1) Click the My applications button on the left hand side of the screen at any time to go back to start a new application or continue with an existing one. Version 1.0 Page 10 of 10
