6 Create Bootable Media The first thing you should do is to create a bootable media. This will be used in case you cannot start Windows. Beginning with Windows 8 and carrying into Windows 10, Microsoft has decreed that vendor computers with the Microsoft Windows sticker have a new interface called UEFI defining the interaction of the operating system with the hard drive. See this article to determine which type you have. Previously, Windows used the BIOS interface, we will call the older format MBR/BIOS and the newer one UEFI/GPT. 14 Create Incremental Backup Backups made after the first one are incremental to save the changes since the first backup. This approach results in smaller backups while providing the means to restore your computer its state at the time the backup is made. Start AOEMI You would start a new full backup by clicking New Backup On current backup click Backup Here you see three choices. Recommend you pick either Incremental or Differential. Incremental saves changes from Full and any succeeding incremental backups Differential always calculates the changes from the full backup Click on your choice.
