2 WFT Server Mode Infrastructure Network Setup Overview This section will describe how to set up a WFT Server Mode infrastructure network on a computer running the Professional edition of Windows XP or Windows 7. WFT Server Mode allows you to wirelessly control your camera through a standard web browser. It also provides Live View functionality and the ability to wirelessly transfer images from the camera to a remote computer. This setup requires a wireless network router to serve as the access point. It assumes that the router has been set up for DHCP with WEP security enabled. You will therefore need the 10 digit WEP key or other password to connect to the router. Do not attempt to change the settings on anyone else s computer or network without the explicit permission of the owner or administrator. Initial Setup Windows XP 1Double-click the Wireless Network icon located on the Taskbar, at the lower right corner of your screen. 2Double-click the Wireless Network Connection icon. 2

It also provides Live View functionality and the ability to wirelessly transfer images from the camera to a remote computer. This setup is secure and WEP encrypted.
