2 Release ntes HW4 Sftware Versin Change cntrl HW4 versin includes all the functins and features f HW4 versin with the fllwing mdificatins and additins: Enhancements: Devices PF4 with HC2 prbe The PF4 prvides an ptinal E2 cnnectr. This allws t measure differential pressure, humidity and temperature. PF4 supprts the same prbe functins as HF8: HC2 calibratin, same functin as HF5 HC2 adjustment, same functin as HF5 Analg input, can be selected instead f the HC2 digital prbe, equal functin as HF8. Psychrmetric calculatins, all psychrmetric parameters can be calculated. Data lgger: HL-1 / TL1 With the release f the HW4 v3.4.0 ROTRONIC will launch a new data lgger, HL-1 / TL-1. Simple standalne data lgger Can be used with HW4-LITE (free versin) Humidity adjustment N grup adjustment

3 New features Autmatic AW-reprt generatin AW-reprts can be autmatically generated by ticking the bx. Start/ Stp f wireless lggers via HW4 Data lgging can be started and stpped by the HW4 sftware.

4 Cmmunicatin alarm visualizatin Cmmunicatin alarms are visualized like all ther alarms in the grup lg and by changed backgrund clr.

5 Alarm ntificatin n desktp can be enabled / disabled The alarms shwn in the desktp can be enabled r disabled by type. The feature affects nly the desktp visualizatin. All alarms are tracked in the alarm table. Layut view: device label psitin and backgrund image are independent fr every grup and sub-grup

6 Graph view: graph, lg-file, statistical data can be printed at the same time T simplify printing f lg-files the HW4 sftware prvides a new functin Print selectin. This allws t print graph, lg-file data and statistical data at the same time. SW21: V1.1.1 is integrated

Wireless data lgger temperature lw limit In HW4 v3.3.0 the temperature lw limit culdn t be set. This bug is fixed with the v Temperature adjustment grup adjustment If the temperature adjustment is started in a different temperature than the captured value the calibratin will be wrng. New features HW4-Lite HW4-Lite supprts up t three cnnected HC2-WIN-USB devices r three HL-20 data lggers. Measurements are bserved simultaneusly n a PC. Alarm visualizatin (fr all versins f HW4) Alarms are indicated visually with different clrs depending n their pririty. Default settings: Pririty 1 red Pririty 2 range Pririty 3 yellw The default clrs can be changed by the user. Search functin fr alarm table (fr all versins f HW4) Enables alarm search by text. Enables alarm search by date.

10 Alarm verview in Glbal Settings (fr all versins f HW4) Alarms can be rganized by drag & drp in glbal alarm settings. Shutdwn prtectin (fr all versins f HW4) User rights fr HW4 shutdwn can be set within User Management. If enabled, a passwrd is required t clse HW4 sftware.

11 Srting f devices in grups and subgrups (fr all versins f HW4) Devices in subgrups can be created and rganized by device name, address, type r descriptin. Exprt f PC screen visible data fr.log files (fr all versins f HW4) HW4 allws the direct exprt f currently visible data t the Clipbard, the data can then be pasted int a.xls (Excel) file. Temperature adjustment f wireless lggers (fr all versins f HW4) (LOG-PT1000-RC / LOG-PT1000-RC-US / LOG-PT1000-ET030-RC / LOG-PT RC-US) The Pt100 temperature sensr can be adjusted using HW4 sftware.

12 Bugs fixed: SMS alarm Device name is included in the text message. alarm SSL server can be used fr alarming. When Grup Adjustment is used the prtcl will be saved in the crrect directry. Knwn bugs: Wireless data lggers: The device lw alarm limit fr temperature can t be changed. Enabling / disabling is pssible. Affected devices: all types f LOG-HC2-xx-RC and LOG-PT1000-xx-RC Wrkarunds: Use HW4 v3.2.1 r v3.2.0 in the applicatin. Use HW4 v3.2.1 r v3.2.0 t change the lw alarm limit and use v3.3.0 fr mnitring. Instead f the device alarm use sftware alarms fr mnitring (Online Mnitring is nt recmmended due t battery lifetime). Sftware alarm limits in lcal lgger files will nt be displayed. Enhancements: Devices HF1 CP11 New features Device Cnfiguratin Tl fr devices nt based n the HygrClip technlgy In the main menu bar f HW4, the menu item Settings and Tls gives access t a new item named Device Cnfiguratin Tl. The Device Cnfiguratin Tl is used t cnfigure a number f devices that are nt based n the HygrClip technlgy and d nt appear in the HW4 Device Tree. Such devices include but are nt limited t the HF1 transmitter, the CP11 indicatr, etc. Depending n the device, the tl als gives access t functins such as adjustment, data recrding, etc. Custm calculatins with the HF8 transmitter Device Manager fr the HF8 transmitter nw allws the user t define up t tw custm calculatins based n measured values such as relative humidity r n calculated parameters such as the dew pint. Custm calculatins are cnstantly updated by the HF8 and can be shwn n the lcal display and / r displayed n the mnitr f a PC running the HW4 sftware. A custm calculatin can be assciated with any f the HF8 inputs. When assciated with an input, the custm calculatin can be assciated with any f the HF8 analg utputs. The user can als define lw and high limits fr a custm calculatin and use these limits t generate an alarm and t energize a relay.

14 Water activity measurement Water activity prbes such as the HC2-AW-USB can nw be put within a grup t the purpse f making simultaneus measurements with several prbes withut having t switch frm ne prbe t the ther. The AwQuick Mde / AwE Mde tab lcated in the right pane f the HW4 main screen has been entirely rewrked. The frm displayed by this tab allws the user t enter a batch number, a prduct name and cmments. This infrmatin will appear in the measurement reprt. The water activity measurement reprt can nw be signed by the user. A signed reprt cannt be mdified. Acknwledgement f Alarms When acknwledging an alarm, the user has the ptin f entering an acknwledgement text r cmment. As a means f facilitating the entry f repetitius cmments, the different texts entered by the user are retained by HW4 and are presented as a list frm which the user can chse. Time Change Event HW4 nw makes an entry in the User Events file whenever the PC time clck is changed by mre than 5 minutes while HW4 is running. Adding r Remving a Device frm a Grup: As with previus versins f HW4 prfessinal devices can be dragged with the muse int a grup r dragged ut f a grup (assuming that at least ne grup has been created prir t this). HW4 v ffers the additinal ptin f using the device menu t d the same. T pen this menu, select the device with the muse and right click. Autmatic dwnlad t the HW4 PC f lgger data files The autmatic dwnlad t the HW4 PC f lgger data files was previusly nly available with the HL-NT data lgger series. This functin is nw als available with the LOG RC wireless data lgger series. HW4 View Data Can be used t pen a file cnsisting f recrded data and can als be used t print a graph. Additinal infrmatin such as Prcess Name, Device Name, etc. can nw be printed n the same page as the graph. This infrmatin can be selected in HW4 Glbal Settings > Graph Settings Tab. OPC Tags (HW4 Prfessinal with OPC Server) The OPC Tags are nw cmpatible with 64-bit systems
