4 Remved the default 100 secnd timeut fr data requests frm the Curatr Tl (CT) t the Middle Tier t enhance CT netwrk cnnectivity and perfrmance. The CT will nw wait frever t receive a respnse frm the Middle Tier whereas previusly the CT wuld stp waiting after 100 secnds and give up. When the user presses the ALT key, it is nw visually apparent that the user is in BLOCK MODE because the grid lines change clr frm grey t red. Order Wizard enhancements: the default srt sequences were changed fr the: Order Request Items datagrid nw by Sequence Number Order Request Actin datagrid nw by Started Date Order Request Attach datagrid nw by Attach Date multi-site rders searches are handled better the Web Order tab search nw lks at the Status f each individual Web Order Request Item when searching fr New rders. If any item is still marked as New, the Web Search will find it regardless f the Web Order Request header s status. speed perfrmance was imprved when prcessing r creating Order Requests by bulking the transmissin f data t and frm the CT t the Middle Tier. (This shuld alleviate the impact f slw netwrk cnnectins.) There are als imprvements in the perfrmance f creating new Order Requests frm Web Order Requests, n the Dragging and Drpping f accessin lists (which must be cnverted t the distributin inventry lt befre being added t the item list), and n the use f right-clicks n the Order Request Items datagrid t change the item status via the cntext menu. 5 Fixed the Order Wizard t handle inventry recrds that have quantity_n_hand amunts f NULL r 0. This crrected the exceptin errr situatin that was with an Invalid cast errr message in a dialg bx when any rder items cntained NULL n-hand quantities. Enhanced the Order Wizard t use the web_rder_ship_t address fr cases when the germplasm requester selected a shipping address that is different frm his base address. The cde was als mdified t create a new cperatr recrd fr that cperatr when the shipping address is new. Mdified the Order Wizard t match the requestr t these cperatr table fields: Last Name, First Name, Organizatin, Gegraphy ID ( cuntry/state), and Address Line 1. (Previusly the wizard matched the web cperatr t cperatr data in the cperatr table's web_cperatr_id field.) Enhanced the Lkup Table t speed drag and drp peratins when dragging data frm a spreadsheet (r any external prgram) t the Curatr Tl (Nte: This was accmplished by adding indexes t the Lkup Tables. On PCs with an existing CT, in rder t benefit frm this ptimizatin, the lkup tables must be reladed. Nte that in situatins when updating t , yu are nt required t update the Lkup Tables, but if yu dn t, the speed f drag/drps will nt imprve. Enhanced the Curatr Tl lading speed by nt activating the first dataview in the gridview at startup (thus suppressing the lading f data when the Curatr Tl is starting up). Mdified the Crystal Reprt Viewer by default, the Gruping Tree is nw hidden Enhanced the Curatr Tl text imprt methd t gracefully handle malfrmed PKEY data present in tab delimited data being imprted t the CT via cpy/paste r drag/drp (Trac 973) Enhanced the Curatr Tl's Order Wizard t alert the user in real-time when the requested amunt t be shipped exceeds the amunt available in the inventry lt number (Trac 970) Enhanced the Curatr Tl's Order Wizard t enable Web Order Request Attachments t be updated n the Order Request Attachment tab f the wizard - this is handled thrugh a new 'Update' buttn n the 'Attachment Tab' f the Order Wizard (Trac 971) Fixed the Curatr Tl t stp shwing an exceptin message abut quantity_shipped clumn nt existing during a DataGridView refresh (smething that happens autmatically when the user clicks the Save buttn and the data is successfully saved) This versin crrected a bug in (v ). 11 Mdified the behavir f the Lkup Table Updating prcess t wrk arund a flaw in the Middle Tier s GetAllLkupTableStats() web methd. The flaw in the MT Web Methd allws updates t be missed when the data changed was nt in the PKey table assciated with the Lkup Table but was instead a change in a table jined t the PKey Lkup Table. Fr example if changes are made t the cde_value_lang table (perhaps fr a crrectin r additinal translatin fr the cde_values) the GetAllLkupTableStats() web methd will ignre thse changes and incrrectly reprt back t the CT that the cde_value lkup is up t date. Therefre the results returned t the CT after a call t GetAllLkupTableStats() reprt n updates needed even thugh language changes have been made and the cde_value Lkup Table needs t be updated Fixed CT cde that autmatically updates lkup tables s that it will nw upgrade an existing lcal lkup table database ad hc instead f requiring the user t relad all f the lkup tables when upgrading frm CT v r earlier versins t newer CT versins Enhanced the Lkup Table Dictinary methds t gracefully handle crrupted lkup table dictinaries (by detecting a read prblem and deleting the dictinary s that it can be autmatically rebuilt by the CT) Fixed bug that disabled cpy/paste (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V) frm the CT datagrid view (when in Read- Only mde) Enhanced the CT datagrid view t enable "blck-mde" selectins in additin t the default "full-rw" selectins when the user is in Read-Only mde.
