The QT screen opens. 27
28 Step 3. Click the QT Analysis On checkbox. QT Analysis begins, and QT data becomes available in the patient window within 5 minutes. Step 4. Click the Patient Window button. Things To Know About Demo Demo will not run while connected to the PGN. You must disconnect the PGN and make sure that the Microsoft Loopback Adapter is enabled prior to starting the Demo application. The loopback adapter must use the monitoring LAN IP assigned in the Config Wizard. The loopback adapter must be named 'Monitoring LAN'. Although you can access and use the QT screen on all ITS beds, you can only view QT monitoring on Demo4 in the 8 Patient simulated data file and Demo5 in the 16 Patient simulated data file. Bed labels, equipment labels, unit name, SCC name, and switch name have the prefix Demo to show you are running the demo application. The IPM simulated beds have limited capabilities from the aspect of the IIC user interface. If you silence an alarm when it occurs the simulation file assigned to that sector will stop and restart shortly. You can silence Demo1 - Demo5 (in the 8 Patient simulated data file) and Demo1 - Demo10 (in the 16 Patient simulated data file) without stopping the simulator files. Simulator files run continuously until the recorded duration ends (approximately 120 minutes), at which time the file restarts. During this time the waveform disappears for seconds before the waveform restarts. Although the Trend Display option is not supported, Trend display Demo functionality is enabled. From Main Screen press the Alt-Backspace keys. To return to normal mode, press Alt-Backspace again. The demo program can run with or without a switch connection. Device location information is provided in some ITS sectors. The USB Recorder will not operate if connected to the laptop because required drivers are not available. An IntelliVue Telemetry System (ITS Telemetry) simulation file with SpO2 data allows you to select Pleth as the secondary wave. It also enables the SpO2 related controls in the Patient Window and Telemetry Setup application. Although ITS controls in Telemetry Setup (e.g. Pleth Wave, SpO2 Mode) are active, you cannot make changes to the ITS Telemetry behaviors of the Demo program. ITS Telemetry and IntelliVue simulated waveforms take about 30 seconds to appear after Demo start up. SDN bed waveforms appear immediately. STindx is configured as a parameter of the VITAL SIGNS trend group. Removal of the Demo Application and all its components is not possible using the MicroSoft Uninstall process. 28
29 If you access an IntelliVue Patient s Arrhyth Alarms in the Patient Window and try to change the HR Limits, the screen will blank and monitoring in the patient sector will stop temporarily. 29
30 Demo Mode does not support Data Export. If you open an admitted patient s Patient Window and go to ALL Controls > Data Export, the Data Export screen displays. If you click the Export Button, the system behaves as expected but an SDProcess error is generated. The Patient Window reappears but when you go to ALL Controls > Data Export again an SDProcess Error popup displays. You must click OK in the popup to close the error. Paging controls are supported in Demo; output to actual paging devices is not supported. Demo permits assignment of paging devices. Demo Mode Release N includes the following new features: Lab Data Entry is available. New fields are added on the Admit screen and required fields are identified by a red asterisk. Afib simulation files are added to the simulations files (Demo5 in the 8 Patient simulated data file, Demo6 and Demo10 in the 16 Patient simulated data file). 12 lead export has required fields for export to emphasize new export settings. If you discharge the IntelliVue bedside monitor beds that have 12 leads attached to them you will lose the 12 leads attached to each bed (Demo6-Demo8 in the 8 Patient simulated data file, and Demo11-Demo13 in the 16 Patient simulated data file). You can restore from archive again to get the captured 12 leads back in the simulation file. Disabling the Loopback Adapter The Demo application uses the Microsoft Virtual Loopback Adapter, which can possibly interfere with other network applications running on the computer. If necessary, you can disable the Loopback Adapter as follows. Step 1. From the desktop, right-click My Computer and select Properties from the drop-down list. Step 2. Select the Hardware tab and click Device Manager. Step 3. From the Device Manager window, double-click Network adapters to expand the selection. Step 4. Right-click Microsoft Loopback Adapter, and choose Disable from the drop-down list. The next time you run the Demo application, you must re-enable the Microsoft Loopback Adapter. 30
