1.0 General Description The ROC Integrated 15 Computer is a fully self contained, ruggedised fanless computer system suited to a wide range of industrial, mining and military applications. The solid aluminium construction of the ROC family, along with the highly ruggedised internal design and construction techniques ensure that the system is able to operate successfully in the most challenging environments. A range of processing power levels from 600MHz to 1.8GHz provide adequate processing power for the majority of applications, whilst tolerance against high vibration levels, dust and moisture ingress ensure reliable operation under the most adverse of conditions. A full range of interface ports facilitate integration into a wide variety of systems. Various options including flange/vesa mount, anti-vibration mounts, and compact flash disk are also available. 2.0 Technical Specifications 2.1 General Description The ROC Computers are based around a ruggedised core design and have been developed for use in severe environments including industrial, mining and military applications. Scalable processing performance allows a future upgrade path in terms of CPU and memory capacity, along with flexible interface options to accommodate a wide range of system interfaces. Ultra-low voltage, low power CPU options are available to minimise heat generation and facilitate location in high temperature environments. 2.2 Mounting Options The ROC Integrated is available with 3 mounting options. 2.2.1 VESA Mount Standard 100mm spaced M4 mounting points are located on the rear panel. This version is free standing and can be mounted using a movable VESA mount bracket or arm. Page 4 of 14
2.2.2 High Vibration/shock Mounted For use in high shock and vibration mining and military applications, rubber isolation mounts are supplied as part of a shock mounting system. This configuration is used in high vibration mining and road tunnel drilling systems. Page 5 of 14
2.2.3 Blast Shield/Military Version This version can be VESA mounted but is also provided with a drop down blast shield for military and mining applications. A sealed keyboard can also be located in the drop down area of the shield. Page 6 of 14
2.2.4 Flange Mount Version This version can be mounted into a control panel or equipment enclosure. The flange and display area are also sealed to ensure that dust and moisture is not able to enter the system. Page 7 of 14
