All 16 RJ45 ports support 802.3af (or 8 ports with 802.3at PoE), to power PoE-enabled WLAN APs, VoIP phones and IP surveillance cameras through CAT-5/6 cables without extra power adapters. The ASP-MG16 provides a full set of enterprise-grade security, QoS and management features. QoS allows real-time network traffic classification and gives priority to time-sensitive voice, video, or other mission-critical applications. The enhanced Access Control List (ACL) filtering functions protect against broadcast storm, ARP and DDoS attacks, etc. The easy-to-use GUI, along with CLI, SNMP and Console, offering faster setup and configuration. 02 FEATURES Powerful PoE The ASP-MG16 provides 16 10/100/1000Mbps ports that supports 802.3af/at-compliant PoE, with total PoE budget up to 240W. Without the need for additional outlets, ASP-MG16 can be deployed for powering APs, phones, cameras, and other PoE enabled devices. Enterprise-Class Hardware Design The ASP-MG16 supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, consuming less energy when traffic volume is low. This would help saving operating costs and helping small-and medium-sized businesses stay within their budgets. Enclosed in a rugged metal housing, ASP-MG16 have fans for keep the unit cool, making it perfect for installation at any working environment. Advanced QoS features The switch provides rich QoS policies, administrator can designate the priority of the traffic based on a variety of means including Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority, to ensure that voice, video and mission-critical data are at higher priority. Class of Service (CoS) sets the IEEE 802.1p priority tag based on IP address, IP Type of Service (ToS). Secure Networking The ASP-MG16 Switch supports flexible user authentication methods including MAC, 802.1X and RADIUS for greater policy-driven application security. And it also provides Port Binding, Port Security, Storm control and DHC/IGMP/ MLD Snooping which protect against broadcast storms, multicast traffic flooding, ARP attacks, DoS attacks etc. In addition, the Access Control Lists feature restricts access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports. Enterprise Level Management The ASP-MG16 supports various user-friendly management features, such as intuitive web-based GUI or Command Line Interface (CLI). And it also support SNMP (v1/2/3), that make it can be managed by 3rd party NMS platform and monitor the network s performance by viewing port statistics, system logs, and alarm data.
