6 How your tailor made multiroom system is created 1. The components trivum multiroom systems are based on a modular combination of different components. The main component is the trivum controller, which is adapted to your particular requirements and wishes by using different slot cards. In combination with the trivum controls, trivum amplifiers plus different audio and movie sources, a tailor made system is created, which will remain open to all new technologies in the future. 8 3 2. Planning and Installation 10 Planning and installation of your trivum multiroom system is done by selected and trained local trivum partners. This way, you can be sure that your entertainment system will perfectly match your personal expectations and run reliable at all times. 7 Amplifiers* trivum offers high-quality amplifier solutions developed in close cooperation with the German top HiFi manufacturer AVM-Audio. 5 6 7 The trivum PowerAmp is a high-end, 8 channel central amplifier. It can supply four pairs of speakers with the same music (one zone) or with different programmes (four zones). trivum PowerAmps are available in 43 cm or 19 housings. The StereoAmp S and the InwallAmp are used as local amplifier components. Voltage supply and audio signal are combined in one Cat cable. The audio signal is symmetrical. This way even large distances can be wired without further loss of audio quality. Adapters* Software* Speakers trivum adapters enable your multiroom system to be expanded with audio and movie sources of different brands (for example ipod, classic Record Players, CD and DVD player, TV, surround systems). In addition, the adapters connect trivum Remote- Controls with the system. A nice and clean web interface makes organization of your hard disc music collection easy. trivum multiroom systems are set up quickly by trained installers using the trivum configuration web interface. Compared to other multiroom systems with highly specialized programming software, trivum helps your installer to finish the job fast and save your money. Good loudspeakers will make your multiroom System complete. Depending on the required audio quality and installation needs, there is a wide range to choose from. Standing, in wall or ceiling mounted, active or passive loudspeakers: Your local trivum partner will help you to find the perfect speakers for your requirements. 8 10 Cabling trivum multiroom systems basically need two types of cables: Standard Cat network cables and speaker cables. Keypads, amplifiers and adapters are connected with Cat cables to the controller slot cards, either directly or via the PC network. Central Controller* trivum Controllers are the heart of any trivum multiroom system. They coordinate audio and movie sources, carry out operating commands and interface to building technology (for example, lighting, curtains, door intercom). Besides the main board, the Controller keeps space for 12 slot cards. Up to six controllers can be combined with each other. This way, a fully equipped system can supply up tp 64 rooms with 16 different audio sources. trivum controllers are based on state of the art microcontroller design. Compared to PC based systems, they offer minimal electricity consumption and maximum reliability. trivum Controller are supplied in 43 cm or 19 housings. 1 Controls* Your trivum system is operated by Keypads and Remote-Controls (infrared or wireless). They are supplied with a standard key layout that can be individually configured on request. This gives you direct access to special functions such as alarm clock or extensive macros.
