Loading an embroidery is as simple as selecting an icon in the clean uncluttered look of the TruE'MStudio software window, 1. Click the TruE'MStudio ~ icon from the Dock or from Launchpad 2. To open TruETMStudio ~ in Launchpad, click Launchpad, and then select the TruE"" Studio ~ icon, If the icon is not in view, move to the second page of program icons in Launchpad _ by clicking the small dot that is fa inter in color at the bottom of the display, 3, Select Hoop [-0-. In Brand, select Universal. In Machine Group, select Universal. In Hoop Size select the 260mm x 200mm - Universal Large Hoop 3, and set Orientation at Vertical. Many machine brands and types are supported, You may select Enter Hoop Size and create a custo m hoop size, 4, Click OK.

Click to select TruE Flower 191.vp3 in the File Viewer. Hold down the Shift key for proportional resizing, then click and drag any corner handle on the select box to make the design one grid square larger.

Select letter in the Control Panel. Choose from 15 font collectio ns, over 100 fo nts! 27. Choose Traditional in the drop-down menu for the Collection, a nd Antonia 15-35, from the drop down menu for the Font set. 28. Adjust the Size to 25mm. 29. Click in the Text box. Typ e: Be TruE (hold down CTRL and click Enter for a new line) To Yourself! 30. Choose Full Circle [ ~, from the 21 Line Types. 31. Ensure TruE Flower 191.vp3 is selected with a box. 32. Click Apply, and the letters fit around the selected design! Select the Preferred Thread Colors -= 33. Click Design == in the Control Panel. Each letter chara cter ha s its own color c ha ng e..3 34. Click ColorSort ~ to reduce color changes in the lettering to one. ~, ' T-.".:-')'1. \ l :-=

Page 6 35, Click the red thread block in Color Select. 36, Select the drop down menu for thread Manufacturer, 37, Select your preferred thread brand (Robison-Anton Rayon 40) from 33 manufacturers, over 16,000 threads, Filter the thread manufacturer by ty pi ng Robiso n in the Ma nufacturer search b ox, Click the drop I _.'?" down menu again, and o nly thread manufacturers starting in Robison will be ava il a bl e in th e list. Clear the manufacturer by clic king the X at the e nd of the ma nufacturer se arc h box, 38, Click on a new thread color, 39, Click OK to change to the new thread OR 40, Select the preferred manufacturer, 41, Select the Colors tool (Mac Functionality) ~ and choose the color wheel, crayon box, or other tools to select the closest thread shade in your preferred color, 42, Click OK to accept the thread color change, 43, Click Center in Hoop r. I, Add Some More Style :~i' _".._, I!_.:-.'- - --=--= 44, Select Fran1e... in the Control Panel, Select from over 500 frames,

Page 7 45. Change Collection to Frames with the drop down menu. 46. Change the Frame set to Classical 1 with the drop down menu. 47. Select Frame 4, left column, middle row. 48. Ensure Margin is selected. Change Margin to Smm to add a little space between the frame and the lettering. 49. Uncheck 'Combine'. 50. Ensure the letters are surrounded with a select box. 51. Click Apply and the frame fits around the lettering. Finish with a SuperDesign 52. Select SuperDesign in the Control Panel and choose from 21 Categories, with over SOO SuperDesigns. 53. Click the drop down menu in Collection and select Flowers. 54. Click the drop down menu beside Flowers 1 and select Flowers 2. 55. Click Design 9 (last design, last row). 56. Set Size at 10mm. 57. Click Apply to create a single SuperOesign. " Encore for a Border in the Hoop 58. Click Encore "----"-_ in the Control Panel. r-' ---, 59. Select Hoop I 0 Jto repeat the selected design around the edge of the Stitch Area in the Hoop. 60. Uncheck Remove Corners.

Page 8 61. Set Gap at 2mm. 62. Change Margin to 2mm to add space between the encored design elements and the edge of the hoop. 63. Click Preview to see how it looks before you create the Encore design. 64. Click Apply to Set Encore and finish the border. - = 65. Click Design == in Control Panel, and click the thread color band to cha nge the outer border to Sulky Metallic 30, 7009 Pewter. Type 7009 in the Number se arch box and the thread will be selec ted for you. 66. Click OK to close the thread color change box. View on a Background 67. Click Realistic View -io to see the embroidery without a hoop. 68. Click Load Background ~. Use a digital photo from your camera or phone to easily a ssess how your d esign will appear on your project! 69. Select 'Load a Previously Saved Background'. 70. Click Continue. 71. Select Columns view 72. Ensure you are in the Home folder ~. Browse to TruEmbroidery> Backgrounds> Garments> General> Aprons. 73. Select the White Apron and click Open.

Page 9 74. Click Move Background '------' 75. The cursor will appear as a Move icon X to indicate you can select and move the background. Click and drag within the design area to position the apron behind the design. Use t he Zoom Slider to adjust your view, Floati ng panels, such as the control Panel or File viewer, are easily moved around the work area or closed obstru ct your view, so they d on't 76. Control Click or right click and select Finish Move Background. View the Design as it Stitches 77. Click Design Player The Player w ill drop down into view, Click and drag a n edge or c orner to adjust the size, 78. Click Move to Beginning 79. Click Fast Forward several times to show Infinite speed adjustment. 80, Close Design Player. 81. Select File, Save (or 3 plus S) to save as a multipart.vp3 file with all elements separate for fast and easy changes later on. 82. Type TrueToYourself in the Save As box, The only format available is,vp3,

Click the Expanded Save Dialogue icon [ y I to easily browse to another folder. See the pictured Help reference. There is no special folder in TruEmbroideryTM for saving your design fil es. Select Documents in the Shortcuts. Click New Folder [.... In Name of New Folder, type TruEDesigns. Click Create. You can save all your final d esigns here!...~...--.-~... New Folder Name of new folder: TruEDes igns Cancel 1 [ Create 84. Select File, Export to create multiple design formats for all machines and flatten the embroidery. Select the options of your choice. 85. Click Next, a nd ensure you are still in the folder you just made. 86. Add Export to the end of the File Name, and click Save.
