1. Products Overview Thanks for purchasing our product! Our tracker is a GPS/GPRS based tracking device specially designed for motorcycle. Tracker is waterproof (IP66). Tracker has built-in terminals of GPS (global positioning system) module and GSM communication module, which are used for getting the location data and send it to authorized phone number via SMS, and tracking through free maps Google Earth or Google Map; If your mobile phone is smart phone and opened with GPRS service, it is more convenient to see location of the tracker on smart phone by setting the SMS location format to be Google Link. At the same time, the GPRS data can be sent to the Internet server, which can realize the checking, monitoring and managing of the tracker on computer. 2. For Your Safety Read these simple guidelines. Not following them may be dangerous or illegal. Correct Connection Qualified Accessories Hidden Installation Avoid near blasting Qualified service Water resistance When connecting with other tracker, read carefully its manual so as to carry out correct installation. Do not connect it to other incompatible trackers. Use original parts, qualified batteries and peripheral equipments to avoid damage to tracker. In order to avoid damage by human, please install tracker in a hidden place. Follow any restrictions. Do not use tracker when blasting is in progress. Only qualified personnel can repair tracker. Tracker is not fully water resistant. Keep it dry. 3. First Use Please read this manual before using tracker and check if all parts are included in the packaging box. 4.4.1 Ensure that your tracker has a working SIM card and backup battery. - Check that the SIM card has not run out of credit (Test the SIM card in a phone to make sure it can send and receive SMS) - Check that lock code of the SIM card is turned off. - If you require the function of sending an SMS location report to the authorized phone number when it makes a call to the tracker, please make sure the SIM card installed supports displaying caller ID. Insert SIM card and install backup battery: - Unscrew the front cover of tracker (Front cover as below picture shows). - Take the PCB out of housing, insert the SIM card and connect the Backup Battery Connector. - Put back the front cover and screw it up. 4.4.2 - Find a suitable place for installing tracker, make sure the front-cover face sky, check if all wirings have been connected correctly and then connect the unit to the motorcycle or car battery. Use a cell phone to call the tracker SIM card number, if can call means tracker work normally. - 8 -

5. Change Password Command: M******,00,###### Description: Change user s password All commands are case-sensitive! All commands in this manual are SMS commands! 1. ****** is user s password and the default password is 000000. Tracker will only accept commands from a user with the correct password. Command will be ignored if with wrong password 2. ###### is the new password. Password must be 6 digits M000000,00,123456 M123456,00,888888 6. Authorization Number Command: M000000,01,NO.,Phone Number,ABCDEFGHI Description: Authorize phone numbers for receive SMS alarms NO.: serial number, only can be 1 or 2 or 3 Phone Number: authorized phone number. Max. 16 digits A: SOS alarm B: Help alarm C: Tracking by calling D: Sending regularly with SMS E: Low battery alarm F: GPS signal is weak warning G: Geo-fence H: Over speed alarm I : Monitoring mode (1: enable 0: disable) Preset the 1 st authorized phone number is 13800000000, and just enable SOS emergency calling function. 7. Tracking by SMS Use a cell phone to receive the location message. 7.1. Real Time Tracking Command: M000000,02 Description: Get the latest location data by SMS When sending this command, the tracker will reply a latest location data by SMS. M000000,02 Reply: Lat=22 23.61N Lng=114 22.56E,MMC:460,02,CellID:27B3,0E59, Speed=0Km/hr,05/7/2011,03:30,SMS 7.2. Tracking by Calling The tracker will reply a location message by SMS if any authorized number makes a phone call to it. 7.3. Tracking Regularly Command: M000000,03,X Description: Set an interval for the tracker to continuously send its location by SMS to authorized phone number. 1. X is the interval in minute (Max. 65535) 2. X=0 means to disable this function M000000,03,30 The tracker will send the location message to authorized phone number every 30 minutes. - 10 -

8. SOS Emergency Calling and HELP Alarm Setting Command: M000000,06,X,Num Description: If press SOS button 3 seconds, tracker will dial the SOS phone number If press Help button 3 seconds, tracker will dial the Help phone number (Only applies to GT89) X=1: setting the SOS emergency calling number X=2: setting the phone number for help Num: phone number (Max. 16 digits) M000000,06,1,88888888 This command will set the SOS emergency number as 88888888. M000000,06,2,99999999 This command will set the help phone number as 99999999. 9. Google Map Link Command: M000000,10,X Description: Send this command to the tracker and then you will receive a SMS with Google map link or latitude and longitude. X=1: reply SMS with Google map link. Click on the link then the location can be shown directly on Google Map on your mobile phone (Only smart phones support this function). X=0: reply SMS with latitude and longitude. 10. GPRS Receive the location data to the server via GPRS. 10.1. Tracking by GPRS Command: M000000,21,X Description: Enable this function. X=0: disable this function (default) X=1: enable this function by TCP X=2: enable this function by UDP M000000,21,1 10.2. Set Tracker ID Command: M000000,22,ID Description: Set device ID for each tracker. 1. ID: Max. 16 digits M000000,22,123456789 10.3. APN Setting Command: M000000,23,APN,Username,Password Description: APN parameters setting 1. APN: Access Point Name for the service 2. Username and password are optional. If no APN username and password are required, just input APN only 3. APN + username + password should not over 64 characters M000000,23,CMNET - 12 -

10.4. IP and Port Setting Command: M000000,24,IP,PORT Description: Set IP and Port for GPRS communication. 1. IP is your server s IP 2. Max. port is 65535 M000000,24,192.168.111.111,6000 10.5. Set GPRS Interval Command: M000000,25,X Description: Set the time interval for tracking GPRS. X: 5 to 65535 (default is 30), unit is seconds. M000000,25,60 The tracker will send GPRS data to server in every 60 seconds. 11. Over Speed Alarm Command: M000000,05,X Description: set this function. When the tracker speeds higher than the preset value, it will send an SMS to authorized phone number or send this alarm to server (if GPRS connected). X is the preset value of speed in Km/h (Max. 200 Km/h) X = 0: disable this function. In order to reduce false positives, make sure the preset value is higher than 50 Km/h. M000000,05,80 When tracker s real time speed is higher than 80K m/h, this alarm will be sent out by SMS. - 13 -

12. Geo-fence Command Command: M000000,32,NO.,name,lat,lng,radius Description: enable Geo-fence. When the tracker moves in/out the preset fence, it will send a SMS alarm to the authorized phone number and send this alarm to server via GPRS. NO.: serial number, must be 1 or 2 Name: Max. 10 characters lat: format is dd.dddddd, the unit is latitude, if it is belong to northern latitude, and minus is needed. Otherwise, omit it lng: longitude, formats is ddd.dddddd, the unit is longitude, if it is belong to east longitude, minus is needed. Otherwise, omit it radius: Max. 99999.00, the unit is Km According to Preset longitude and latitude as the center of the circle, with the preset radius, we can define a circle. 14. Power Saving Mode Command: M000000,07,X Description: Make the tracker into power saving mode. In power saving mode, GPS stops working, and GSM enters sleep and stop sending out message until it is activated by SMS/incoming call/detected movement/press SOS button 3s/press Help button 3s, then it will be into normal working mode. X=1: enable power saving mode X=0: disable power saving mode M000000,07,1 15. Application Examples for Inputs 15.1. Ignition Detection Ignition wire ACC Tracker Ignition Switch + - Car Battery Digital input 3 (ACC) used for ignition detection. The detection flag and alarm (when flag changes) will be sent to the server via GPRS. Please refer to <GPRS Communication Protocol> for more information. - 15 -

15.2. Fuel Detection VCC AIN1 GND Analog input 1(AIN1) can be used for fuel detection. The remaining-fuel-percent will be sent to the server via GPRS. Please refer to <GPRS Communication Protocol> for more information. 16. Output Control 16.1. Output Control Command: M000000,50,NO.,X Description: turn on or turn off the output NO.: should be 1 to 4 (1 said Digital Output 1; 2 said Digital Output 2; 3 and 4 reserved) X=1: open the output, it can drive a relay at this time X=0: close the output M000000,50,1,1-16 -

16.2. 17. Setup by Setup Software The tracker also can be configured by Setup Software in computer if you already installed < setup software >. Please refer to manual of setup software for more information. - 18 -

18. Problems & Solutions problem:tracker can not turn on when connecting backup battery Possible cause resolution low battery Please connect an external power Problem: the tracker doesn t reply with SMS message Possible cause resolution The GSM antenna conjunction isn't firm Please reconnect the GSM antenna The GSM antenna conjunction mistake Make sure the GSM antenna connects the GSM conjunction The GSM network is busy Wait for a message. The GSM network may reply slowly when busy time or equipments breakdown Password mistake or command mistake Please use correct password and command format The SIM card surplus amount shortage Please change or recharge the SIM card The SIM damaged or warped Please check the SIM card, sweep metal of card to get in touch with a point, If still invalid then replace SIM card Problem: SMS received starts with Last Possible cause resolution The GPS antenna conjunction isn t firm Please reconnect the GPS antenna The GPS antenna conjunction mistake Make sure the GPS antenna links the GPS conjunction The tracker has already covered the place position Move the tracker to the open spaces place. High building, big tree, heavy rain can make GPS signal bad The GPS signal is weak The GPS antennas face the sky problem:can not connect the server by GPRS Possible cause resolution The SIM card can not support the GPRS Open up the SIM card s GPRS function function The GPRS function has closed Open up the GPRS function Incorrect IP address or PORT Get the right IP address and PORT and reset the device The GSM signal is weak Move the tracker to the place can receive good GSM signal - 19 -
