Burn Audio CD Run Magic Burning Studio; choose Burn Audio CD in Audio tab. Know more about the buttons and menu functions of main screen, please refer to Getting Started. Step 1: Add file or folder from the File drop-down menu, or right-click the file list window. Step 2: When the files are added into the file list as you like, you are ready to start burning. Make sure a blank disc is in your recorder drive. 2.1. Double click the selected file for adding title and artist. 2.2. Select Setting from the Tool drop-down menu to add title and artist for the CD. Options in creating audio disc This page provides you the detailed instructions of each option in burning audio CD, burning Mp3/Wav Data CD/DVD and grabbing audio. The default parameters are the most suitable settings for all formats. Once you are familiar with the formats, you can adjust these settings to get a desired result (default settings recommended). Options in burning audio CD The following configuration options are available after clicking Burn button: Burning Speed: Define the burning speed. Page 14
Burning Mode: Define the burning mode. Buffer Protect: Check it to prevent data errors, and avoid of burning a bad disc. Test Mode: Check it to reduce the chance of burning a bad disc. Eject after Burning: Eject disc after burning. Close Disc: Close disc after burning. CDROM XA: Check it when you are using CD-ROM XA. Send optimum power calibration: Check it to identify the most suitable burning power for the disc. Settings Title: Define a title which is saved as CD text. CD players that support CD Text show the title name entered here. Artist: Define a artist which is saved as CD Text. CD players that support CD Text show the artist's name entered here. Transport SPTI - SCSI Pass Through Interface is preferable for windows NT-based systems Page 15

ASPI - Advanced SCSI Programming Interface is primarily intended for Windows 9x systems, but can be used in Windows NT-based systems. Temporary Path: In the burning process, some temporary files will be produced. By default condition, the temporary file will be stored in your temporary (tmp) directory. directory recommended). File System: File System Type: Define the file system. ISO9600 mode does not support long file name (less than 32 characters), ISO9600 Joliet mode does. ISO Image: ISO Save Path: Define the path that ISO will be saved. System's current data and time: Define the time and data of creating image file. Transport: (Please refer to Option in burning audio CD ) Options in grabbing audio This configuration option displays on the left of main screen. Artist: Define the artist which is saved as CD Text. Album: Define a name for the album. Genre: Define a genre for the grabbed files. Year: Define the year for the grabbed files. Output Format: Define the format of grabbed files. Config: This configuration option only available for Mp3 and Ogg. Replace Existed: Check it to replace the existed files. Select All: Check it to select all files. Track-1: Select it to inherit this disc track for burning. The inherited disc must has a surplus of space available, and disc is not closed. File System: File System Type: Define the file system. Ignore bad blocks: Check it to ignore the bad sectors in the disc. Single LB transfer forced: Single LB transfer forced. Replace existed: Check it to replace the existed files. Step 1: Add DVD folder from the File drop-down menu, or type it manually. The folder contains DVD-Video files, such as VOB, IFO, and BUP files, which are usually created by DVD authoring software. Create DVD This part of Magic Burning Studio let you directly create DVD from other video files, this function gives the user an easy way to organize source video, add texts, setup DVD menu, and then produce a DVD-Folder and burn it to DVD disc. You will like its strong ability to burn DVDs without the hassle found in many other software. Run Magic Burning Studio; choose Create DVD in Video tab. Step 1: Define the desired DVD mode. Pagination Menu: A DVD menu, which can set up many pages help users to add more video link menus, and each menu correspond with a hyperlink of video. Chapters Menu: Set up a DVD menu, which can be played by chapters. This can help users add title menu at index page, and each title menu links a chapter video. Step 2: Define a template for your DVD from the template list. Step 3: Input video files with button. 3.1. Delete video files with button. Page 35

Options in creating DVD The following configuration options are available after clicking Settings button: General Temp directory: (Please refer to Options in burning DVD/VCD/SVCD ) DVD Video Format Video Format: It indicates the ratio between the width of the picture and the height of the picture. Normal video format is 4:3; HDTV's video format is 16:9. Select one of the above from the drop-down list. Quality: Define the burn quality from the drop-down list. Aspect: Define the television and video standards from this option. For American standards, select NTSC. For European standards, select PAL. Direct Show: If the codec of your input file can not be recognized, tick this option. Then try Page 43

Other Utilities There are three other parts offered by Magic Burning Studio, you can enter the desired part for processing your orders directly. Erase Disc Erase rewritable CD/DVD disc. Run Magic Burning Studio; choose Erase Disc in Other tab. Following interface will pop up: Page 46
Driver: Define the desired recorder. Erase Speed: Define the erase speed. Quick Erase: Check it to perform quick erase. The Quick Erase does not physically erase the disc fully, but only the table of contents. Erasing with Quick Erase takes between one and two minutes, if performed without quick erase, it takes several minutes to completely erase the disc. Eject after erase: Eject the disc after erasing. Erase: Click it to start erasing. Copy Disc Copy a CD/DVD disc to a new disc. Run Magic Burning Studio; choose Copy Disc in Other tab. You can go to "My Computer" to check if you can find "DVD-RAM Drive" The other one is because the DVD disc you try to burn has be written. Sometimes the DVD disc did not record file but it recorded data, so the disc cannot be write again though it is said "Empty" Please empty (erase) you DVD RW first, or use a new disc and then try it again.
