1. CloudFusion Login 1. After CloudFusion is launched, access the URL: http://ip:8080/cloudfusion. 2. Following web browsers are recommended: Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. 3. Login to CloudFusion using administrator s account. 4. Administrator account/password:admincreator/admin123. 5. The user admincreator is defined as an administrator of CloudFusion management platform, applied only to manage organization group and corresponding cloud clusters that this platform belongs to. 6. Password of Admincreator on CloudFusion platform is currently not allowed to be changed. 5

2. CloudFusion Environment Setup 1. Skyport management (Please login to the CloudFusion using administrator s account before executing operation to setup management platform.) 1.1. Skyport is an auxiliary software of CloudFusion platform. It lists corresponding Skyport to CloudFusion. And the Admincreator determines the joining Skyport. 6

1.2. Operation procedure: 1.2.1. Select [Skyport management]. 1.2.2. Check or uncheck corresponding Skyport. 2. Cloud cluster subscription 2.1. After Skyport management configuration is done successfully, system will synchronize Skyport with configured Pool and then define it as cloud cluster by CloudFusion. Admincreator will be able to manage and control cloud clusters through this configuration for this platform. 2.2. Operation procedure is depicted as follows. 2.2.1. Select [Hypervisor]. 2.2.2. Check or uncheck configured cloud cluster. 7

3. Create subscriber's account Cloudfusion organization management module provides Admincreator with capability of creating organization configuration and account available for businesses or individual users and it assign cloud cluster to users. 3.1. Operation to create company s configuration: 3.1.1. Select [Company]. 3.1.2. Select [New Company]. 3.1.3. Fill in basic information of the company. 3.1.4. Select [Create]. 8

3.2. Cloud cluster management and resource pool assignment. 3.2.1. Select [Company] menu. 3.2.2. Select [any designated company]. 3.2.3. Select [Resource]. 3.2.4. Check or uncheck designated cloud cluster. 3.2.4.1. Configure resource pool constraint value of the checked cloud cluster. 3.2.4.2. Click [Update] Note: Admincreator should notify users before removing cloud cluster. Steps to remove cloud cluster: Un manage cloud cluster (by Admincreator) 9

Cancel users' subscription to cloud cluster (by Admincreator) Remove cloud cluster (by Skyport administrator, refer to CloudFusion Installation Guide: Skyport Operation) 10

4. Subscribers system resource management (Please login to the CloudFusion using administrator s account before executing procedure to setup management platform.) 4.1. You can strictly control utilization capacity of the virtual machine through the resource pool configuration. 4.2. Operation procedure is depicted below. 11

4.2.1. Select [System] [Resource management]. 4.2.2. Select [any Resource Management item] (Total resource upper bound limitation as an example). 4.2.3. Select [any resource pool of cloud cluster in Hypervisor column]. 4.2.4. Fill in the constraint value of the resource pool. 4.2.5. Click [Update]. 12

5. Subscribers organization management 5.1. Add a department 5.1.1. You can incorporate structure of departments within the company by creating corresponding class through this procedure. Operation procedure is depicted below. 5.1.1.1. Click [User]. 5.1.1.2. Select [New organization]. 5.1.1.3. Fill in department information. 5.1.1.4. Click [Create]. 13

5.2. Add a new privileged role 5.2.1. This procedure specifies functional permission of operation on CloudFusion for each role in the organization. Operation procedure is depicted as follows. 5.2.1.1. Click [User]. 5.2.1.2. Select [any designated department in Organization column]. 5.2.1.3. Select [Role]. 5.2.1.4. Click [Create] button. 5.2.1.5. Fill in basic information of the role and set up permission for the role. 14

5.2.1.6. Select [Create] button. 5.3. Add user 5.3.1. Operation procedure to configure users of the organization and assign role to each user. The users will operate on CloudFusion according to their roles permission: 5.3.1.1. Click [User] menu. 5.3.1.2. Select [any designated department in Organization column]. 5.3.1.3. To query all records of operation on the virtual machine, operation procedure is depicted below. 26

5. Workflow Functional Module Workflow functional module provides hierarchical application auditing to approve user s application item based on organization structure. 5.1. Workflow Configuration 5.1.1. To add a new workflow, operation procedure is depicted below (to create virtual machine as an example). 5.1.1.1. Select [Workflow]. 5.1.1.2. Select [In progress]. 5.1.1.3. Select [Login user organization privilege Role ]. 5.1.1.4. Select [Create] [Create Instance]. 5.1.1.5. Fill in basic information of the workflow. 5.1.1.6. Click [Submit workflow] button to complete the operation. Click [Close] button to abort the operation. 40

5.1.2. To delete a workflow, operation procedure is depicted below. 41

Click [Cancel workflow] button to complete the operation. Click [Close] button to abort the operation. 5.2. Auditing Workflow For the user s application item, the administrator or supervisor of any hierarchical level in the company can work through the [ Auditing queue ] item for the following auditing process. 5.2.1. Operation Procedure is depicted below. 42

5.2.1.1. Select [Workflow]. 5.2.1.2. Select [To audit]. 5.2.1.3. Select [any scheduled automation task in auditing queue]. 5.2.1.4. Fill in [Approval comments]. 5.2.1.5. On the bottom side of the page, there are multiple button for different approval result. Respective function of the button is depicted below.) 5.2.1.6. To forward the submission to the next higher levelled supervisor for auditing, Click the [Forward workflow] button. 5.2.1.7. To directly approve this auditing item, Click [Approve workflow] button. 5.2.1.8. To withdraw an auditing item and return it to the applicant, click [Reject workflow] button. 5.2.1.9. To abort the auditing operation, click [Close] button. If there is no higher levelled supervisor defined in this workflow, [Forward workflow] button is equivalent to [Approve workflow] button. 43

5.3. Auditing Log Query The login users can select [Search] to query history log of auditing application. 5.3.1. Operation Procedure: 5.3.1.1. Select [Workflow]. 5.3.1.2. Select [Search]. 5.3.1.3. Fill in searching criteria (left empty to search for all). 44

5.3.1.4. Click [Search] button. 5.3.1.5. Click [any detail] button to query the history log of auditing application for details. 45

5.4. Deletion This is specific Privilege of the Administrator for Organization s Workflow For any abnormal situation or unexpected case of users auditing application, the administrator of the organization can forcedly delete it. 5.4.1. Operation Procedure: 46

5.4.1.1. Select [Workflow]. 5.4.1.2. Select [In progress]. 5.4.1.3. Select [Login by department s administrator privilege role]. 5.4.1.4. Select [any auditing application form]. 5.4.1.5. Fill in [Comments of deletion]. 5.4.1.6. Click [Delete workflow] button to complete the operation. Click [Close] button to abort the operation. 6. Cloud Functional Module 6.1. Virtual Machine Management and Creation Besides virtual machines can be created by CloudFusion, they can be retrieved from Skyport that creates and manages them. 6.1.1. To manage designated virtual machines of the cloud cluster, operation procedure is depicted below. 6.1.1.1. Select [Cloud] [Instance]. 6.1.1.2. Click [Create] button. 6.1.1.3. Select [Hypervisor]. 6.1.1.4. Click [Fetch information] button. 6.1.1.5. Select [any virtual machine to be managed]. 47

6.1.1.6. Click [Confirm] button. 6.1.1.7. Fill in basic information of the managed virtual machine. 6.1.1.8. Click [Create] button complete the operation. Click [Cancel] button to abort the operation. 48

6.1.2. To manage multiple virtual machines within cloud cluster, operation procedure is depicted below. 6.1.2.1. Select [Cloud] [Instance] 6.1.2.2. Click [Add] button and select [Recycle]. 6.1.2.3. Select [Hypervisor] drop down menu. 6.1.2.4. Click [Search] button. 6.1.2.5. Check multiple [any virtual machines to be managed] and set up [Chargeback] 6.1.2.6. Click [get] button. 49

6.1.3. To create virtual machine for designated cloud cluster, operation procedure is depicted below. 6.1.3.1. Select [Cloud] [Instance]. 6.1.3.2. Click [Create] button. 6.1.3.3. Select [Hypervisor]. 6.1.3.4. Fill in information of Virtual machine. 6.1.3.5. (Add and configure component of CPU and memory according to the actual condition or skip it by using default setting.) 50

6.1.3.6. Click [Add component] button (to add 10G disk space as example). 6.1.3.7. Fill in component information. 6.1.3.8. Click [Confirm] button. 6.1.3.9. Adjust the number of the CPU cores and capacity of memory space. 6.1.3.10. Click [Create] button to complete operation. Click [Cancel] button to abort the operation. 51

6.2. Edit and Delete VM Modify configuration information and flexibly adjust hardware resource for VM. 6.2.1. To edit designated VM, operation procedure is depicted below. 6.2.1.1. Select [Cloud] [Instance]. 6.2.1.2. Fill in virtual machine searching criteria (left empty to search for all). 6.2.1.3. Click [Search] button. 6.2.1.4. Check [any VM to be edited]. 6.2.1.5. Click [Edit] button. 52

6.2.1.6. Modify VM information 6.2.1.7. (Modify and configure component of CPU and memory according to the actual condition, or skip it by using default setting.) 6.2.1.8. Click [Delete] button.(to delete 10G disk space as example). 53
