What is dual credit? High School Based dual credit with Ivy Tech: FREE!!! You are dually enrolled in your high school course and an Ivy Tech course. 1 class = 2 credits! College Based dual credit $137.85 per credit hour You can receive college credit and it can be listed on your high school transcript (it can sometimes count towards high school graduation requirements).

Qualifying for pre-reqs If you re in a course that has a prerequisite, you ll either need to take the Accuplacer or we ll need a qualifying score to ensure you re eligible for the class. Note: A 2.6+/4.0 Core 40 Senior Transcript can waive students of taking the Accuplacer, except for Math classes
Does your Dual Credit transfer? Any course in the Transfer General Education Core will transfer to all public four-year universities and most privates. To see all of the universities that participate go to: transferin.net For Out of State Universities it is up to the receiving institution. For out of state evaluation purposes, the school may request a syllabus.
