1. XML Sitemap Splitter Configuration Once you are finished with installing the extension it is time to proceed to your Magento 2 backend to finalize the XML Sitemap Splitter setup. Before start using the extension we suggest running through the XML Sitemap Splitter extension settings and other options available to adjust the settings. This will help in better understanding of how the extension functions and what can you expect your sitemap to look and feel like. Page 3
1.1. Accessing the Extension Main Settings To access the configuration settings for this extension, please go to Stores > Configuration > Ulmod Extensions > SEO XML Sitemap Splitter Page 4

1.2. General Use 'Catalog Root' filter Set to Yes to filter products by Category Root at the store view level. Set to Yes to exclude URLs disallowed by robots.txt rules or to No to disable this functionality If Yes the products that are not assigned to any category will be checked during generation Set to Yes to check products that are not fetched or included during sitemap generation. Use last modified date Set to Yes to indicates the date when the page was last modified or No to indicates current date. Priority Please enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Zero has the lowest priority. This indicate the priority of categories URLs relative to other URLs on your site Page 7

Products Enable Set to Yes to include product XML file in your sitemap at the store view level or to No to disable this functionality Frequency Please choose how frequently the products pages content is likely to change. Priority Please enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Zero has the lowest priority. This indicate the priority of products URLs relative to other URLs on your site Use last modified date Set to Yes to indicates the date when the page was last modified or No to indicates current date. Visibility Select product visibility type to include in generated sitemap. You can choose from "Catalog", "Search" and both "Catalog, Search". Page 8

Products Out of Stock and Products Image Enable Set to Yes to include the Out of Stock product URLs in the XML Sitemap or to No to disable this functionality Use last modified date Set to Yes to indicates the date when the page was last modified or No to indicates current date. Frequency Please choose how frequently the out of stock products pages content is likely to change. Include or exclude products images in the sitemap. Choose All, Base Only, Visible Images Only or Hidden Image Only. Priority Please enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Zero has the lowest priority. This indicate the priority of out of stock products URLs relative to other URLs on your site Specify the image title, caption, license and custom license. Page 9

CMS Pages Enable Set to Yes to include CMS pages in the sitemap or No to disable this functionality Use last modified date Set to Yes to indicates the date when the page was last modified or No to indicates current date. Frequency Please choose how frequently the CMS pages pages content is likely to change. Priority Please enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Zero has the lowest priority. This indicate the priority of CMS Pages URLs relative to other URLs on your site Exclude the CMS Pages you don t want to include in the XML Sitemap that you generate. Page 10
1.8. Generation and Search Engine Set the frequency of XML Sitemaps to be generated for your online store. You can choose from Daily, Weekly and Monthly options. Add one or more email address(es) which will receive a notification each time the XML Sitemap is generated/updated. Enabled - Set to Yes to automatically generate or update XML Sitemap at a specified time. Set a time at which you want to generate/update the XML Sitemap on daily, weekly or monthly basis Set Yes to receive an email every time an XML Sitemap is generated or updated on your online store. Set to Yes to automatic ping the search engines to index the generated/updated XML Sitemaps of your store. Choose the email report sender.
