Designed for storing cells, blood, serum and other biological fluids at temperatures as low as C, these sturdy polypropylene vials offer a high level of chemical resistance. As described in the following pag e s, they are available in different configurations and in sizes from. ml to ml. A large white marking area and printed graduations facilitat e sample identificat i o n. Some models are free-standing while some others have only a round bottom. Self-standing vials have a locking base allowing opening and closing with only one hand while vials are used with the Simport Workstation. One important feature in the Simport C ry o v i a l design is being able to manufacture both the tube and cap from the same p l a s t i c, ensuring the same expansion coefficient, therefore a lasting seal. Color coding is made easy simply by inserting a Capinsert TM in the cap. A choice of colors is available. Five models of Storage Boxes are available to accommodat e, or 00 C ry o v i a l tubes of all sizes. These boxes are made of polycarbonate for high mechanical strength and resistance to extreme temperature changes.
