It features Delta's self-developed 32-bit SoC CPUs for greatly enhanced execution speed. The AS Series provides accurate positioning control for up to 8 axes via the CANopen motion network and 6 axes via high-speed pulse. It is equipped with CANopen and EtherNet/IP network communication for high-speed data transmission. The professional, yet simple editing software ISPSoft V3.0 delivers quick hardware and network configuration. It adopts built-in function blocks as handy controls for customers during system set-ups. The software also provides multi-layer password protection for enhanced system security. The AS Series adopts a modular design and patented DIN-rail clips for fast vertical module installations. The simple shape and dark gray exterior of the AS Series helps resist stains and dirt in harsh industrial environments. The series also conforms to international environmental regulations and is suitable for sustainable use with low-polluting, lead free and recyclable features. Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS Series - Functions & Features High Efficiency Computing Delta's self-developed AS Series CPU provides 32-bit high-performance computing, with 1024 points maximum number of inputs / outputs, and a maximum 32 modules for extension capability. As the core of a high-efficiency controller, it helps increase productivity and adaptability for demanding equipment. High-Efficiency: SoC structured CPU, LD instructions can be as fast as 25ns, MOV instruction up to 0.15μs, and high speed execution up to 40k steps / 1 ms. Customers can set up tasks for various event-driven programming, which enables a CPU to automatically diagnose priority to an array of programs. This function delivers optimized and flexible execution efficiency. The AS Series adopts CANOpen industrial protocol for I/O communication to increase data transmission efficiency compared to traditional serial bus speed which is limited by modular extension numbers. The I/O update time does not significantly lag and even modular extension is greatly expanded, improving system operating efficiency and stability. Accurate Axis Control - Positioning Control Solution Positioning control via CANopen (Delta exclusive) With communication card AS-FCOPM, the AS Series supports the CANopen communication protocol and provides high-speed data transmission for motion control of up to 8 axes. Built-in CANopen Builder allows fast positioning configuration for customers in one initialization instruction. No need for building a CANopen data exchange table. Instructional axis control delivers high readability for PLC programs, and also allows users to easily maintain and correct system. Provides simple control instructions for more accessibility exclusively for Delta s AC Servo Drive ASDA-A2-M Series. Functions include initialization, start / stop, acceleration and deceleration, absolute positioning, constant speed control, relative positioning, homing, read and write parameters, and more. Positioning control via high-speed pulse control Transistor CPU supports motion control for 6 axes (or 12 channels). Differential CPU supports 2 axes 4 MHz and 4 axes 200 khz. Supports positioning planning table for fast positioning planning and path simulation. Choose any given 2 axes for linear and arc interpolation. Applied with high-speed counter, real-time high-precision monitoring function to take up to 16 external input interrupts. Built-in high-speed counter setting tools allows customers one-time setup for easy configuration. Simple Installation The best size for installation in control panels. Compact-in-size, the height is only 88 mm, and is as small as a business card. All Series adopt two installation methods for customers. Both methods provide ground protection for electrical safety. Delta s patented DIN-rail: without back-planes, CPU modules can be installed onto robust slots of the DIN-rails. Simply press the clip rings and push the module to the desired position until hearing a "click to finish installation. Alternative screw installation method: simply pull out the installation clip rings, then screw into the reserved mounting holes to fix modules onto the panels. Fast and simple cable installation using a screwless installation method. The CPU/32/64 modules use MIL connectors and the 8/16 modules use EU connectors. All modules provide anti-vibration level up to 3G to ensure safe and stable device operation. For cable protection, the AS Series adopts a full-covered spring clamp design that enhances the clamping force. When the wire is pulled out and the spring moves up, a downward force is generated at the same time to clamp the wire and prevent loose wiring. - 3 -

The Open Industrial Ethernet Communication Protocol for Real-time Control and Data Collection With built-in Ethernet communication, the AS Series adopts high-speed data transmission via EtherNet/IP and ModbusTCP. It can connect up to 32 stations at the same time, and data transmission via EtherNet/IP can take up to 500 bytes per connection. Provides E-Mail, Web, SMTP, IP Filter and many network topologies for customer accessibility based on various user demands. Strong extensibility: based on actual demands, customers can select SCM modules and CANopen function cards to establish extensional remote I/O system via CANopen communication protocol. Every AS Series CPU can extend up to 15 stations and controls up to 32 SCM modules within 100 m. It provides efficient solutions for remote systems. - 4 -

Powerful Programming and Diagnosis Functions Compared to a traditional program structure, the AS Series adopts the ISPSoft panel for hardware planning. This graph-based panel for modular configuration provides a more intuitive and user-friendly interface. The programming organization unit (POU) enables easy and high-efficiency management for large-scale programs. It also supports multiple programming languages in the same project. Easy equipment configuration can be done as quick setup via scanning. Built-in tracer offers high-speed tracing and long-time data logger. The tracer s data storage saves up to 32,768 data with memory cards, and sampling time can be as fast as 1ms. The software supports sampling intervals, trigger modes, software setting and hardware execution for precise data collection. It also adopts trend displays, scaling, arrangement, merge and measurement functions to assist customers diagnose system errors. For data management, the data backup tool CARD Utility provides a friendly guidance interface for easy data backup and restore for programs, parameters and devices. For data safety, the AS Series adopts various system security protections, including limited retry times on error login, data upload protection, verification between Project (Program ID) and CPU (PLC ID), 16-digit password for project, 16-digit password for POU, and prohibition of IC duplication. - 5 -
