Getting Started: Forgot Password
Forgot Password 1) Select Forgot Password? 2) Enter your email address. Click Request Login E-mail. 3) An email granting access will be sent to your email address. Please allow a few minutes for the e-mail to arrive. 4) Open email and click on link. 5) Enter a new password, retype it, and click on Save Password.
Getting Started: Edit Your Profile
Edit Your Profile Customizing your VMS profile lets your fellow volunteers learn more about you. 1) Select your name in the upper right hand side of the screen. Select My Profile. 2) Fill out as much detail or as little as you feel comfortable with. 3) If you prefer, you can choose to make your contact information private. This hides everything other than your name and email address from other volunteers. Your Program Admin will still be able to view your complete information, however. Select the Private checkbox. 4) Select Save.
Getting Started: Add Hours
Add Hours Adding your hours is essential to making sure your volunteer work is being recorded properly. 1) Click Hours on the left hand navigation. 2) Click +Add Hours. 3) Is this project a Calendared Event? If YES - Select See all events and select the event. If NO - Enter the event title. 4) Add an Event Description 5) Enter the organization you volunteered with. If you ve volunteered with them before, select My Previous Organizations and select the organization. 6) Enter the location. 7) If applicable, select the Project your hours need to be applied. You instructor can add new projects. 8) Select the event Category (see descriptions in notes).
Add Hours 6) Enter your Volunteer Hours and any Miles Driven to and from the event. 7) Report any Activity Impact or Contact Information you may have gathered at the event. 8) Enter any relevant Comments / Notes. 9) Click Save Hours.
Calendars: View My Events
View My Events View events you've volunteered for. 1) On the home screen, you can see a quick view of your events in the Your Calendar block. 2) You can also click Calendar on the left hand navigation. 3) Then click the My Events tab.
Calendars: View All My Events
View All My Events View all volunteer events. 1) Click Calendars on the left hand navigation. 2) Then click the All Events tab.
Calendars: View Single Project Events
View Single Project Events View all volunteer events. 1) Click Calendars on the left hand navigation. 2) In the main Calendar View select a Project.
View Single Project Events 3) This will display only that single project's Events. 4) You can use the My Events toggle to hide or show your Events on the Calendar.
Photo Album: Create a Photo Album
Create a Photo Album 1) Click Photo Albums on the left hand navigation. 2) Click Create Photo Album on the upper right hand side of the screen.
Create a Photo Album 3) Enter a name for your album and click Create Album. 4) Browse Files or drag and drop files. 5) You'll then be prompted to upload your photos.
Photo Album: Add Photos to an Existing Album
Add Photos to an Existing Album Upload or edit photos in an existing album. 1) Click an existing Album. 2) Click Edit Photo Album.
Add Photos to an Existing Album 3) Enter a name for your album and click Create Album. From this screen you'll be able to: Change your album's name or delete the album. Delete individual photos or change their order in the album. Add new photos.
Roster: View Roster
View Roster View all your program's volunteers. 1) Click Roster from the left navigation. 2) The roster list will show you each volunteer's full name, home city, email address, and the date they joined the program. 3) You can view their individual profile by clicking their name. 4) Click their email address to send them an email.
