Washington Driver Survey Distracted Driving Attitudes & Behavior Conducted for AAA Washington By GMA Research July 2, 1

Overview GMA Research conducted a statewide survey on distracted driving with 1,1 Washington Drivers, ages 1 and older. The survey was conducted online employing a third party panel of residents who had opted in to participate. The survey was conducted during May/June. A sample of 1,1 carries a maximum statistical error of 2.9% +/- at the 9% confidence level. On average, the survey took about 9. minutes to complete and was designed to be functional on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Participants were screened to be residents, age 1 and older, have a valid drivers license and drive at least miles per week on average. Approximately 4% female and 4% male. 2
