Introduction Introduction This document describes the FTTC Test service provided by to. The FTTC Test permits to conduct specified testing and development activities comprises the following four services delivered from portions of the Infrastructure that are quarantined from the Platform and the Network used by to supply Ethernet and the Platform Interfacing Service. Part A: FTTC Test Description Part A: FTTC Test Description 1. Testing activities This section 1 sets out the testing activities which may perform using the FTTC Test. 1.1 Function of the FTTC Test The FTTC Test is a service made available by to only for the testing and verification activities set out in this section 1. must not use the FTTC Test to supply any products or services to Downstream s or End Users or third parties without the prior written consent of. 1.2 NEBS testing activities may use the FTTC Test to: prepare for and perform; (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) Pre-Certification Testing; Equipment testing; development activities; and any related or ancillary activities in respect of the FTTC Test Product delivered by means of the NBN Co FTTC Test Network (Testing and Development Activities); and conduct any other activities which undertakes in an SAU to provide to in the FTTC Test. 4
Part A: FTTC Test Description 2. FTTC Test Connectivity The FTTC Test comprises elements that enable to perform Testing and Development Activities. The variations of the FTTC elements that support the Testing and Development Activities are below; (i) The FTTC Test configuration in the diagram below is the standard Test Product configuration, which will be implemented unless and agree to implement the configuration shown in section 2(ii). Part B: General Conditions of Supply Part B: General Conditions of Supply 1. Availability and exclusions 1.1 Availability The FTTC Test is a shared resource and access to the FTTC Test is subject to availability. acknowledges that use of the FTTC Test may not be continuous or free of faults and that may interrupt use of the FTTC Test at any time. 1.2 Exclusions (c) The FTTC Test is one element required for to perform the testing and development activities described in this Service Description for the FTTC Test. is responsible for providing or acquiring other elements necessary to perform the testing and development activities described in this Service Description for the FTTC Test. The FTTC Test does not include the supply by of: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) (vii) any Upstream Backhaul or Downstream Backhaul, interconnecting broadband infrastructure, such as dark fibre or Ethernet links, or other connections for the purposes of Upstream Backhaul or Downstream Backhaul from the FTTC Test to the Network; the premises (or part of any premises) in which is required to install any FTTC Equipment, if the acquires a - FTTC Test variant; any content or applications, including IP transit, Internet gateway connection, any Equipment, BGP routing, soft switching infrastructure and all international connectivity; any other end user equipment, such as personal computers and network attached storage solutions; direct access to, or direct use of, s core systems or the functionality of s core systems; building entry rights or physical access to any facility in which the FTTC Test is or available, including for the purposes of establishing connectivity between the Network and the FTTC Test (other than access to the National Test Facility, where acquires the - variant of the FTTC Test ); or any connectivity between the B2B Gateway and the FTTC Test B2B Gateway. (d) In respect of each facility from which elects to acquire a FTTC Test : (i) if the facility is owned or operated by a third party, must arrange building entry rights and physical access to that facility directly with the facility owner (as notified by from time to time); 10
Part B: General Conditions of Supply (ii) (iii) if the facility is a Type 1 Facility, must acquire relevant Service Elements of the Facilities Access Service from to enter and access the facility, and Charges may apply as set out in the Facilities Access Service Price List; and if the facility is the National Test Facility, must choose a connectivity method, connect to the National Test Facility and obtain physical access to the National Test Facility (as applicable) in accordance with section 2.2.3.1 of the WBA Operations Manual. 11
