2 AUTODOME IP 5000 IR Sodim vapor lamp white balance The camera is an exceptional performer when captring video nder a sodim vapor lamp (a street lamp or tnnel lamp, for example). Uncorrected images nder these conditions have a yellowish tint, which can make identification difficlt. In the Sodim Vapor White Balance mode, the camera atomatically compensates for the light from a sodim vapor lamp to restore objects to their original color. Sperior privacy masking For installations in pblic places where privacy of private property is of high concern, the camera provides 24 individal, easy-to-configre privacy masks, with p to 8 displayed in the same scene. As the camera is zoomed, each mask changes size smoothly and qickly, ensring that the covered object cannot be seen in most cases. PTZ drive and mechanism The camera spports 256 pre-positions and two styles of Gard Tors: Preset and Record/Playback. The preset tor has capability for p to 256 pre-positions with a configrable dwell time between pre-positions and can be cstomized as to the order and freqency each preset is visited. The camera also provides spport for two (2) recorded tors, which have a total dration of 30 mintes of movements. These are recorded macros of an operator s movements, inclding pan, tilt, and zoom activities, and can be played back in a continos manner. Pan and tilt preset repeatability are accrate to within ±0.2 degrees to ensre that the correct scene is captred every time. The camera delivers maximm pan speed of 300 degrees per second and maximm tilt speed of 160 degrees per second. The camera is capable of manal speeds (pan and tilt) of 0.1 to 120 degrees per second. The camera provides a pan range of p to 360 degrees continos rotation. The camera s tilt angle is from 0 to ±90. Intelligent Dynamic Noise Redction redces bandwidth and storage reqirements The camera ses Intelligent Dynamic Noise Redction which actively analyzes the contents of a scene and redces noise artifacts accordingly. The low-noise image and the efficient H.264 compression technology provide clear images while redcing bandwidth and storage by p to 50% compared to other H.264 cameras. This reslts in redced-bandwidth streams that still retain a high image qality and smooth motion. The camera provides the most sable image possible by cleverly optimizing the detail-to-bandwidth ratio. Area-based encoding Area-based encoding is another featre which redces bandwidth. Compression parameters for p to eight ser-definable regions can be set. This allows ninteresting regions to be highly compressed, leaving more bandwidth for important parts of the scene. User can configre encoding regions for every configred preset (scene), to increase or decrease the encoding qality for selectable areas of the video image. These regions give better control of the bit rate. Important parts of the scene (identified as objects in the GUI) are encoded at high resoltion and therefore have an enhanced encoding qality. Less important parts (sch as the sky and trees in the backgrond, all identified as backgronds in the GUI) are encoded at lower qality and therefore have a decreased encoding qality. Intelligent Defog Users can configre the mode to be active continosly, or to activate atomatically when the video analytics in the camera detect fog and add light to the video image (and then deactivate when the fog clears or the scene changes). Advanced streaming The camera offers advanced streaming capabilities so that yo can configre the camera to take advantage of the latest network technology. The camera is designed on an efficient and powerfl H. 264 encoding platform capable of delivering highqality HD video with very low network load. The new intelligent encoding capabilities drop the bandwidth consmption to extremely low levels if the camera detects no motion in the scene. The camera is capable of qad streaming which allows the camera to be configred to deliver independent, configrable streams for live viewing, recording, or remote monitoring on over bandwidth-constrained networks. Recording and storage management A memory card (a maximm of 32 GB microsdhc / 2 TB microsdxc) can be sed for local alarm recording or for schedled local recording to improve the overall recording reliability. Recording management can be controlled by the Bosch Video Recording Manager (VRM), or the camera can se iscsi targets directly withot any recording software. Alarm handling and Motion Detection A wide range of configration options is available for alarms signaling the camera. A bilt-in algorithm for detecting movement on presets can also be sed for alarm signaling, or the camera can interface to an external alarm sorce sing the bilt-in alarm I/O ports. In addition, a ser can also schedle virtal alarms. Any of the available external alarm, motion alarm or schedled virtal alarms can then be sed to trigger a relay otpt or to force the camera to do certain tasks (for example, to start a gard tor or to go to a preset location). Access secrity Password protection with three levels and 802.1x athentication is spported. To secre Web browser access, se HTTPS with a SSL certificate stored in the
3 AUTODOME IP 5000 IR camera. The video and adio commnication channels can be independently AES encrypted with 128-bit keys by installing the optional encryption site license. Complete viewing software There are many ways to access the camera s featres: sing a web browser, with the Bosch Video Management System, with the free-of-charge Bosch Video Client, with the Bosch Video Secrity mobile app, or via third-party software. Bosch Video Secrity app The AUTODOME IP cameras flly spport Dynamic Transcoding technology from Bosch, which in combination with the Bosch Video Secrity app provides 24/7 remote access to camera controls, live video streams, recordings and HD images from anywhere, regardless of available bandwidth. Dynamic Transcoding atomatically adjsts the bit rate to the available bandwidth to ensre smooth video streaming, when the video is pased at an incident, a fll HD still image is shown instantly. To gain all benefits of Dynamic Transcoding, simply expand the IP video srveillance system with either a DIVAR IP recording soltion or VIDEOJET XTC from Bosch. System integration The camera conforms to the ONVIF Profile S and Profile G specifications. This ensres interoperability between network video prodcts regardless of manfactrer. Third-party integrators can easily access the internal featre set of the camera for integration into large projects. Ease of installation and servicing The camera has been designed for qick and easy installation, a key featre from Bosch IP video secrity prodcts. Bosch designed the camera with the knowledge that field cables and monts are installed before the camera is monted. The new installation concept allows a single person to connect the cables directly to the camera withot re-roting cables. The camera is easily secred to the mont with a single screw. The three-step installation process can save p to 5 mintes per camera installation compared to any conventional PTZ dome. The camera is rated to provide IP66 protection and offer an operating temperatre range down to -40 C (-40 F). The hosing comes flly assembled with a snshield and ready for wall or pipe applications with the proper monting hardware (sold separately). Dal power options All models can be powered by a PoE+ switch or a 24 VAC power spply. When powered sing PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at class 4) configration, only a single cable connection is reqired to power and to control the camera while also viewing images from the camera. For additional system reliability, sers also have the option to connect the 24 VAC power spply to the camera while sing PoE+.
