Repeat this driver installation for COM30.

Page 6 of 13 2. Configure cash drawer driver 2.1. Start Setting CashDrawer from your start menu 2.2. Select the Machine Type which you are using (e.g. PT6315CCashA) and confirm with Change and OK. 2.3. Change the Port Name (e.g. COM7) and confirm with Rename and OK. Cancel the question regarding a rebbot.
Page 7 of 13 3. Operation mode of cash drawer driver 3.1. Open cash drawer via Windows printer driver (Epson BA-T500II) 3.1.1. Start regedit 3.1.2. Navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Virtual COM CashDriver\ and change the value EnableWorkPort to 1. 3.1.3. Go to Devices and Printers and open the Printer properties of the printer, which you want to use togetehr with this virtual cash drawer driver.
Page 8 of 13 3.1.4. Go to tab Ports and push the button Add Port and select the printer port type, which you want to add and continue with New Port 3.1.5. Select as port type Local port on this computer and Printer port and continue with Next >. 3.1.6. Select the Port Name (e.g. COM7), which you set at the virtual cash drawer driver at step 2.3 and click on Advanced.
Page 9 of 13 3.1.7. Configure the Port Settings comparable to your printer settings and continue with OK. Ignore the failure, which will pop up. 3.1.8. Close the window New Local Port with Finish. 3.1.9. Change the Port of the printer to the new generated (e.g. COM7) one and confirm with Apply.
Page 10 of 13 3.1.10. Change to tab General and open the Preferences 3.1.11. At the tab Document Settings set the Send command 1B 70 00 20 10 and close all Windows. 3.1.12. Reboot your Windows and after that the cash drawer will open during every print through the Windows printer driver.
Page 11 of 13 3.2. Send print and cash drawer commands directly to a COM port 3.2.1. Start regedit 3.2.2. Navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Virtual COM CashDriver\, change the value EnableWorkPort and SendSimulateDeviceStatus to 1. 3.2.3. Go to Devices and Printers and open the Printer properties of the printer, which you want to use togetehr with this virtual cash drawer driver.
Page 12 of 13 3.2.4. Go to tab Ports and remove the Windows printer driver from COM5 (e.g. to FILE:), otherwise the driver will block these port. 3.2.5. Reboot your Windows and after that the cash drawer will open during every command to open the cash drawer to the com port, which you set at the virtual cash drawer driver at step 2.3. 3.2.6. Download and unzip the test-utility. Execute the application COMMTEST as administrator: ftp://ftp.partner-tech.eu/pos-terminals/pt-6315-c/utility/pt-6315- C_virtual_cashdrawer_Test-Utility.zip
Page 13 of 13 3.2.7. After it s started, click on Set and set as COM port COM 7, with the printer communication parameter: 3.2.8. Copy the test command from the text-file, which can you find at the root directory of the file PT-6315-C_virtual_cashdrawer_Test-Utility.zip into the field Send and click on Send. The printer should print a small receipt and the cash drawer should be kick. NOTE: All of this function will be working only, if the cash-drawer utility is running. Check, if the small tray icon is available, otherwise please start it from your start menu.
