Whiteboard tool -The whiteboard tool allows you to write, draw, or type onto a document that is shared with all members of the meeting. To create a new whiteboard, click New White Board at the top of the Meeting Center menu To open tool menu click marker icon Create pointer Text box Draw Line Draw box Highlighter Color Change Eraser Save Document Participant Tab -To view all of the members participating in the meeting click Participants at the top right corner of the Meeting Center menu. Chat Tab -To chat with members of the meeting click Chat at the top right corner of the Meeting Center menu. From here you will see a drop-down menu labeled Send To:. Using this menu, you can chose to send a message to all members of the meeting or just a single specified member. Recorder Tab -To record the WebEx session click Recorder at the top right corner of the Meeting Center menu. From this tab you will be able to start recording the session, and pause or stop the recording once it has begun.
Notes Tab -To take notes during the meeting click Notes at the top right corner of the Meeting Center menu. These notes can be seen only by you and will not be shared with all participants in the meeting. Changing Privileges -Select Participant > Assign Privileges from top menu bar -From here you will be able to change what the participants of the meeting can access Sharing Files -Select Share > File (Including Video) -From here you will be able to select the file you would like to share Breakout Sessions -Breakout sessions can only be used from the Training Center Feature of WebEx -To schedule a training session: choose Training Center from the menu bar of webex.temple.edu, and create a session just as you would create a meeting. -OR you can join a previously made breakout session by following a link that was sent to your email -Breakout sessions are ONLY audio and cannot be used from a mobile device -The presenter in the training session has the capability to jump from group to group Breakout sessions can be made in the initial set up of the training or once the training has already started -To create breakout sessions during the meeting select Breakout > Breakout Session Assignment -You will have the ability to organize the training session in one of two ways 1) by choosing the number of attendees each group will have OR 2) choosing the number of groups in the session -If you choose to generate the breakout sessions automatically, participants will be randomly assigned to groups -If you choose to manually generate breakout sessions you will see a list of the participants in the session and drop down windows of each of the group -To add a participant to a group first make sure the group window is open, then select their name and choose the assign arrow (looks like >> ) -Select Breakout > Start Breakout Sessions once groups are create -To create breakout sessions in the set up, follow these same steps when making the Training session
