Conversion Background What is happening? Our new core banking system will enable us to serve you better than ever. Why is this happening? It has been many years since Provident performed a comprehensive update to its computer system. The new system will allow us to provide you more services and options including faster transactions, better aggregate account maintenance, and joint owner access.
Conversion Weekend When does the conversion start? 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30 th through Monday, October 3 rd at 8:00 am. All branches will be closed Saturday, October 1 st. Continued

Primary Owner Information Primary Account Owners Little to no impact on their accounts or access to their accounts. Primary account owners who are also a joint owner under a different membership will see a consolidated view of their accounts from within online, mobile, text, and telephone banking. You no longer have to sign into multiple accounts.

All accounts are consolidated to your oldest active membership number. This allows you to manage all of your accounts in one place. Statements Will continue to be sent to mailing address or email on file per each membership. ATM/Debit/Credit Cards Card numbers and PINs will remain unchanged Checks Can continue be used and ordered as you do today. Electronic transfers You can continue to make transfers as you do today. Electronic Services Changes Core Conversion impact for members with different joint owners within their membership(s). SECURITY INFORMATION: We suggest that primary members with different joint owners on various accounts to change their passwords and PINs to prevent unauthorized access to joint owners that are not listed on the account. Effective October 3 rd, joint owners will have the ability to set-up their own online/mobile banking and TTT access. Continued
Electronic Services Changes Quicken What is changing? You will be able to use your online banking User ID and password to access your Quicken account. This means you will no longer need a separate User ID and password just for Quicken. Changes to your online banking credentials will impact Quicken access. What do I need to do? Beginning 10/3 Provident members who use Quicken to manage their finances and pay bills will need to follow our conversion instructions located at providentcu.org/conversion. Be sure to locate the correct set of instructions for your version of Quicken: Windows 13-16, Mac 15, or Mac 16. Continued
Electronic Services Changes Quicken Conversion Steps The conversion instructions will walk you through these basic steps, covering everything that you need to do to ensure you accounts are set up correctly within Quicken. Back up your data Cancel outstanding payments before 9/30/16 (Quicken Bill Pay users only) Deactivate your Provident accounts within Quicken (on or after 10/3/2016) Reactivate your accounts by using Provident Credit Union (on or after 10/3/2016) Recreate online payments (Quicken Bill Pay users only) If you have any Quicken data problems after following these steps, be sure to read our troubleshooting guide (available at providentcu.org/conversion) which can help fix common conversion issues.
