The GSM based remote monitoring unit icp 1000, for Transformer Rectifier (TR) monitoring, is a highly accurate, compact, low power, low cost, micro controller based unit with built in GSM Modem which enables continuous Centralized Monitoring of TR parameters and at the same time notification for any alarm occurrence at central station as well on the configured cell numbers. This system enables easy & wireless centralized monitoring of all TR parameters like TR Voltage, TR Current, and Reference Potential and A.C Interference voltage (optional). The icp 1000 can be installed in the existing TR Unit and can directly accept TR parameters without the need of any transducers. The icp 1000 acquires all analog and digital parameters and transmits it to the central station at the programmed periodic interval. The icp 1000 notifies the user for the occurrence of any alarm signal and gives the data to the central station irrespective of the periodic interval. At the remote end, the Data could be received using a GSM interface module connected to the PC installed with the CP Software REMOTE DATA. Remote Data displays the data in the Analytical and graphical format and stores this data in the standard database, which is used for generating, reports for further analysis of the structure under protection. The data broadcast schedule is fully programmable from 1 broadcast per Minute to one broadcast per day.
Apart from sending the TR data to the remote stations, this unit also Logs data in its Non Volatile memory at the programmed logging interval, thus it also is a data logger. It can store about 7000 readings which can be downloaded on the Laptop computer using a RS232 port provided on the unit. The data stored in the internal memory can retain for 10 years without any external power. The icp 1000, send the TR Data with exact time stamp to the central station at the programmed Periodic Interval. At the central end the PC is installed with the GSM module and centralized monitoring software Remote Data. The icp 1000 sends alarm information with exact time stamp to the central station and the configured cell numbers, irrespective of the Periodic Interval. Remote Data accepts the data received from the icp 1000, displays them in graphical and analytical formats and stores them in database to generate Reports and Graphs. It is also possible to send configuration details like Setting Data/Time, Setting/ changing Periodic Interval and Setting of cell phone numbers for getting Alarm notifications. Local Keypad & Display The icp 1000 consists of a 3 x 6 matrix membrane keypad and a 16 x 2 LCD with back lit for entering local settings and viewing TR parameters locally. Local settings such as Setting Data/ Time Setting Start Time for Periodic sending of data to the Central station. Setting Periodic Interval Scaling Entering cell numbers for alarm notifications.
