Building Technologies Access Control SiPass standalone the access control system for single doors
SiPass standalone Access control for single doors SiPass standalone is the most compact product in the SiPass product range. Single door monitoring requires a system that is simple to operate and fitted in a matter of minutes. Ideally, the controller and card reader should be supplied in a compact, combination housing and allow simple configuration using as few tools as possible. SiPass standalone offers all these features. Whether for home or business use, for a single access door or a door where access control needs to be separated from an existing access control system, SiPass standalone offers all the facilities you need. Your investment is also future-proof as this unit can be integrated into a more extensive SiPass system as and when required. Highlights Ideal starter kit for the first door Simple and easy to install Manages up to 500 proximity ID cards Extensive user feedback through comprehensive LEDs Intuitive parameter setting using programming cards Lost cards can be deleted using a programming device Two discrete operating modes (Day and Night) No need for a network or PC Expansion in combination with other products in the SiPass range 2
Card reader and door control unit in a compact, combination housing Ideal starter kit for the first door SiPass standalone is a Single Door Kit the ideal solution for a first venture into access control. It includes a single door reader (ACS3110), 4 programming cards and 10 proximity key tags. Simple and easy to install The smaller the system, the easier the installation. SiPass standalone combines both the controller and reader in a single housing, therefore both are installed at the same time. Manages up to 500 proximity ID cards SiPass standalone is capable of managing up to 500 ID cards. Extensive user feedback through comprehensive LEDs Whether in operation or programming mode, system status is always indicated by coloured LEDs clearly informing the user of system status at a single glance. Intuitive parameter setting using programming cards Setting operating parameters is intuitive and simple. Programming cards are used for this rather than a PC. For example, the programming cards allow ID cards to be added to or deleted from the system simply place the Void Master programming card in front of the reader, then place the ID card that is to be removed in front of the reader, this ID card is then invalid. Lost cards can be deleted using a programming device ID cards can be added or deleted using the programming cards. However, when an ID card gets lost, it is no longer possible to delete it using the programming cards. To prevent unauthorised use of the lost card, SiPass standalone includes a feature that deletes lost ID cards from the system using the AAP3110 programming device (accessory). Two discrete operating modes (Day and Night) The ACS3110 reader operates in two different modes the Day and Night modes. When in Day mode, all cards known to the system have access rights. In Night mode, only persons with night access rights can gain entry. Cards with night access rights automatically qualify for day access rights. This allows rights to be assigned on an individual basis. No need for a network or PC There is no requirement for a PC or network as programming is intuitively simple and uses programming cards. This approach results in easy and fast system installation and setup. Expansion in combination with other products in the SiPass range When extending the system to include other products in the SiPass range, the ACS3110 single door reader can be switched to bus operation. This adapts the existing unit for use as an ID card proximity reader within a SiPass networked or SiPass integrated system. 3
Access control starts with one door SiPass standalone the single door solution Input / Output Tamper alarm Night mode active Simple configuration using programming cards System configuration is often made with the use of a PC and setup software, requiring the user to carry along a PC / laptop, data cable etc. SiPass standalone is the exception as parameter setting is intuitive and simple using programming cards. This is a fast and effective way of programming the system. Program Master (1) Door opener Entry reader Night mode enable/disable To set the single door reader to programming mode. Add Master (2) To add new ID cards or key tags. Void Master (3) To delete registered ID cards or key tags. These all require the availability of the ID card in question. Night Master (4) To set the reader to Night mode. Once set to Night mode, only cards with night access rights will open the door. 1 2 3 4 4
The ideal starter kit for the first door The first door The SiPass standalone kit includes the basic components you need for the first door. ID cards can be individually registered for different single door readers. Use in combination with an existing access control system The ACS3110 is an ideal choice if a door requires standalone access control within an existing access control system, utilising 125 khz reader technology. The AKS3110 Single Door Kit consists of: 1 ACS3110 single door reader 4 programming cards (Program, Add, Void, Night) 10 proximity key tags User documentation Optional: AAP3110 programming device ACS3110 single door reader 10 printed proximity ID cards 10 printable SiPass cards 10 proximity key tags Wireless programming device for e. g. deleting lost cards Standard ISO proximity cards 5
