Activities in 2017 : Update of BR/NC training courses The launch of the updated BR/NC training courses Mandate The COP requests the secretariat to enhance the materials of the training programme, on the basis of decisions 24/CP.19 and 9/CP.21 and taking into account the experience gained since 2014, before the start of the reviews of the BR3/NC7 of Annex I Parties in 2018; (decision 19/CP.23). Improvements: Updated examples including the TRR1 and 2. Guidance on review points were updated, by reflecting the latest experience of reviews and discussions in the LRs meetings Application of better software to improve user-friendliness: More interactive quizzes and exercises in each lesson. Quality of visual images improved. Courses through the LMS of the secretariat. April July September Training of staff : Designing/ writing e- learning courses Update of the course materials Converting materials to the webpage versions Developing new examinations Launch of the updated training courses in the LMS

Systematic management for all training programmes, as far practical. o o Unique personal account to access all courses, Account will remain active for certain period, regardless which programme he/she registered. BR/NC review training : Activities in 2017 (15/CP.20) 1 st Round: On-line period : Exam period: 13 September 24 October 25-27 October Additional round: On-line period : Exam period: 29 November 14 December 15 17 December 6 weeks on-line study period with 3 days on-line exam period. Additional round with two weeks on-line study period was exceptional for the experts who could not take the 1 st round in October.

Overlap with GHG inventory experts, too. New experts who have not yet included in the review processes are wanted to take trainings!! e.g. encourage national experts you meet in-country reviews.
