Enfra Enabler IIIG AT Cmmands Over SMS 1 AT Cmmands Over SMS This dcument is specific t the Enabler III-G prducts nly. Nte: By default, AT cmmands ver SMS are n lnger limited t addresses in the AT$SMSDA. Frm factry default settings, a user must set AT$SMSDAEN=0 t cmpletely disable AT cmmands ver SMS, r ppulate settings in AT$SMSDA t limit which addresses can send AT cmmands ver SMS t a device. A user can send AT cmmands t Enfra mdems via SMS. The fllwing guidelines must be fllwed: AT cmmands ver SMS are enabled by setting AT$SMSDAEN=1 (default). T cmpletely disable AT cmmands ver SMS, set AT$SMSDAEN=0. AT cmmands sent via SMS must riginate frm an address listed in AT$SMSDA, if there are entries ppulated in this cmmand. If there are n entries in AT$SMSDA, and AT$SMSDAEN=1, then all AT Cmmands ver SMS sent t the device; with the crrect frmat and cntaining the crrect MDMID, will be accepted. An incrrectly frmatted SMS message will be prcessed as a regular SMS message. Nt having the riginating address f the SMS message listed in AT$SMSDA cmmand will result in the SMS message being prcessed as a regular SMS message. Query f an AT cmmand setting that returns mre than 160 bytes will result in data being truncated t a maximum f 160 bytes. Nte: The AT$RESET cmmand shuld be sent alne if using the AT cmmands ver SMS mechanism. If used as the last AT cmmand in a multiple AT cmmand SMS message, NO RESPONSE is sent back. Setting f T indicates that the respnse t an AT cmmand will be sent back t the riginatr. Setting f F indicates that the respnse t an AT cmmand will be discarded. [mdem id] field has t be the same value as AT$MDMID cmmand setting. This field is case-sensitive.
