New BBR3 Applied Test Systems entered into the bitumen / asphalt binder market in the early 1990 s with the introduc on of Superpave. We are the only manufacturer to offer a three part solu on to binder tes ng required to meet the PG grading requirements. We ve taken our many years of industry knowledge and combined it with the newest technology to ensure our users have the resources they need to not only meet their requirements, but exceed them. The ATS Bending Beam Rheometer 3 (BBR3) has been reengineered to not only perform flexural tests on asphalt binder and similar specimens per ASTM D6648, AASHTO T313, and BS EN 14771, but the programmable test parameters make this system ideal for other tests as well. Programmable Test Parameters System Status Indicator Lights Lights are red if a component has not been verified or standardized within the last 24 hours. If it is ge ng close to falling outside of that 24 hour parameter the lights will turn yellow promp ng the user to verify and possibly standardize those parts of the system. And if those components are well within tolerance the system status lights are green. The BBR3 offers a built-in computer. The 12 inch industrial strength touch-screen display is ideal for the newly designed so ware. Programmable test parameters allow the user to define a test and save those parameters for later tes ng. Predefined test parameters include the standard ASTM BBR test as well as the crack sealant test and the sliver test. So ware Features Intui ve program design walks users through the test, setup, verifica on, and standardiza on process. Remote Communica on Ethernet Connec on is built into every BBR3 and allows users to connect the BBR to the internet or network. Once connected, users have the ability to connect to the BBR3 with a smart device or PC. This also allows the BBR to connect to a wireless printer.
