Introduction Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 is a server update release that can be installed only over Horizon Manager v1.4 standalone configuration. The NHM v1.4 SP1 release does not require any changes to installed Horizon Manager v1.4 client. See the Constraints section of the About menu to determine if Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 has been successfully installed. Online help and PDF guides are not updated for this release and are current as of Horizon Manager v1.4 release. Check Point VSX v3.0 on Nokia IPSO v3.7.90 Support for Nokia IP355, Nokia IP385, Nokia IP1220 and Nokia IP1260 flash-based devices Nokia Wireless Accelerator v2.2 and Nokia Wireless Accelerator v2.2.1 Support for Check Point Hot Fix Accumulators (HFAs) Nokia IPSO v3.7.90 Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 provides installation and configuration management support for Nokia IPSO v3.7.90. However, you cannot install or upgrade to Nokia IPSO v3.7.90 when Nokia IPSO v3.7.89 or Check Point VSX v2.0 exists on a Nokia device. See Configuration Management on page 8 for the configuration management support for Nokia IPSO v3.7.90. Nokia IPSO v4.0 Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 provides installation and upgrade support for Nokia IPSO v4.0. Limited downgrade support from Nokia IPSO v4.0 to previous operating systems is also available. Support for Check Point Hot Fix Accumulators (HFAs) Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 provides support for all the Check Point Hot Fix Accumulators (HFA) listed in http://www.checkpoint.com/ techsupport/hfa.html as on the release date for Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1. Installing Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 on Solaris Installing Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 on Solaris Note Quit Horizon Manager Server Status and Client applications before installing Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1. The installation type can be Standalone only. To install Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1, you must have root privileges. Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 can only be installed over Horizon Manager v1.4. Nokia recommends that on Solaris systems the total swap space be at least three times the amount of physical memory on the system. The following files are available for download in the Nokia Support Web site at https://support.nokia.com/ NHM14_SP1_Solaris_Build05.tar.Z NHM14_SP1_Solaris_Build05.tar To install Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 on Solaris: 1. As root user, create a temporary directory outside the Horizon Manager directory and extract the NHM14_Install script file by using one of the following commands as appropriate: a. To uninstall Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 from Solaris: 1. As root user, run the NHM14_SP1_Uninstall script from the installed directory. 2. The script successfully uninstalls Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 from Solaris Installing Nokia Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1 on Windows Note Quit Horizon Manager Server Status and Client applications, before installing Horizon Manager v1.4 SP1.
