PLC s Manual 3 1. System Configuration The wemx supports LSIS XGT/XGB Series Cnet. The series communication settings are described as below. Series CPU Link I/F Communication Communication Cable Type Settings XGB XBM- CPU Built-in Cnet RS232C 3.1. Example 1 4.1. RS232C Connection DN**S CPU Built-in Cnet RS485 3.2. Example 2 4.2. RS485 Connection Connection Configuration 1 1 : 1 (One display and one device/plc) Connection Available with RS232C/RS485. 2 1 : N (One display and certain number of device/plc) Connection Available with RS485(2 wired).
4 XGT/XGB Series Cnet 2. System Settings Select LS Industrial Systems Co., Ltd. for Manufacturer and XGT/XGB Series CNet for Series in the Add Device/PLC setting window. Set up a port to a communication type for the device/plc and then add the device/plc. The wemx N Series support as below. COM COM1 COM2 COM3 COM4 wemx N Series RS-232C RS-232C Do not use ( Debug Port) RS-485(2 wired) Set up the selected COM port interface to the device. Items Description Speed Select one: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200. Data Length Select 7 or 8. Parity Select one: NONE, EVEN and ODD. Stop Bit Select 1 or 2. Flow Control Select one: NONE, ER(DTR/CRS) and XON/XOFF. Timeout Standby time for communication. (Unit: seconds) Retry The number of attempts to communicate after a failure. Wait to Send Time to wait before sending a message to the external device (Unit: milliseconds) - This is the time required to wait every time before sending to the device. Delayed Interval This is the time required to wait after the external device finishes reading values for addresses to the screen. (Unit: milliseconds) - Start to read those values again after waiting as long as delayed intervals.
PLC s Manual 5 0. Set up a unit ID to the added device. The ID indicates a station number in the case of LSIS. The default value is If the device s station number is different, change it by clicking a unit-id displayed button, Unit ID button. Items Default Unit ID Description Set up the station number. The default value is 0. The range is from 0 to 31. Click button to finish setting up the rest features. Series BCC Items Select a series to the device. Description Tick BCC if BCC is used for communication between devices.

Once the setup is complete, the set information is sent to CPU (depending on which tool is used.) Select [Online] [Write (W)] if it is XG5000.
