S-NET Connect Directory Directory Directory

Push Notifications This new feature was designed with end user convenience in mind, informing them of incoming and missed calls, new voicemail messages, as well as new software updates. The S-NET Connect Mobile app is now able to receive calls when in background or lock mode, as well as when it has not been started at all. QR Code Scanning S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 now enables users to log in with a specially created QR code. This feature provides the most convenience to users who log in to S-NET Connect for the first time, filling out necessary fields automatically, and reducing the chances of typing errors. S-NET Connect Contacts S-NET Connect 5.0 comes with a much improved user interface for enhanced convenience and easier access. Users can be sorted by their department, by presence (online/offline) and alphabetically, while you can also choose to view this module in grid or list view. Conference Calls Beside the ability to handle multiple calls, S-NET Connect 5.0 now allows users to add two calls to a dynamic conference. In addition, users can join static conference rooms as well and add other participants, similarly to the functionalities included in the S-NET Connect Desktop application. Contact Details As a new addition in Version 5.0, all phone numbers associated with a contact, including a user s cell number, are displayed on their profile page, and a call can be initiated by simply tapping on the number of your choice. Users can add new phone numbers to their accounts using the S-NET Connect Desktop application. Callback The new Callback feature now enables users to make and receive calls over a mobile network in addition to initiating calls over the internet using SIP Protocol. During times of poor network availability or quality, S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 automatically brings up the device s native dialer and initiates a call over the user s mobile network.

07 Voicemail Management 10 With the new push notification capabilities in S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0, all incoming voicemail messages are displayed in the Pull Down Notifications Drawer of the native interface. In addition, S-NET Connect also offers users the option of leaving another user a voicemail message without engaging in a call first. Android Dialer Integration S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 now seamlessly integrates with the Android dialer. When a user is about to make an outgoing call, the Complete Action with dialog enables them to do it with their native dialer or the S-NET Connect Mobile application. They have the option to make their settings permanent. 08 Playing Voicemail Messages 11 In S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 users can now view and listen to new or archived messages by simply swiping left of right on any voice opened voice message. A progress dialog lets users know when their message is downloaded and ready to play. ios CallKit Integration S-NET Connect 5.0 now introduces a seamless CallKit integration on all ios devices, allowing S-NET Connect calls to function as mobile phone calls. All S-NET Connect calls are automatically recorded under the Recents tab, and enjoy the same level of priority as other calls. 09 Transfer Calls 12 S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 now enables users to continue a call on S-NET Connect or transfer it to another phone or desktop app associated with their account. Users can also transfer the call to someone else by entering a phone number or choosing a contact from the S- NET connect Database or their native cell phone contact list. Dashboard The S-NET Connect Mobile 5.0 Dashboard provides users with a detailed overview of their usage, including call and billing information. The Dashboard also enables users to easily change their enhanced service settings, including Call Forwarding, Do Not Disturb and Block Caller ID.

Technical Information S-NET Connect 5.0 now offers users the option to view technical information about an ongoing call in real time by simply clicking the Information button. This feature was introduced to help users diagnose any network issues that affect call quality, and includes both incoming (RX) and outgoing (TX) call information such as packet loss or jitter. 15 Automatic Updates With S-NET Connect 5.0 comes a new update mechanism as well. S-NET Connect 5.0 now notifies users as soon as a new version becomes available. If users don t wish to update their application or set a reminder when prompted, they can find and download the latest version of S-NET Connect Mobile manually. Self Care S-NET Connect 5.0 Self Care options now enable users to block their caller ID, prevent incoming calls with the Do Not Disturb setting, enable unconditional call forwarding and specify a number calls will be forwarded to. 16 Customized Avatar S-NET Connect 5.0 now enables users to easily change their profile image by clicking on their avatar and taking a new picture with their device s camera or choosing an image from the gallery. Photos can be easily cropped and saved. Callers Soft Key S-NET Connect 5.0 introduces new soft keys on the Polycom VVX series phones for added convenience. The Callers soft key shows users their most recent incoming calls. 02 Redial Soft Key The newly introduced Redial soft key allows users to redial the last number they have called.

01 Improved Navigation In order to improve user efficiency, administrator settings are grouped in two sections: PBXware and Admin. In addition, parts of the Setup Wizard related to Licensing and SMTP configuration are integrated into the main page instead of opening as a pop-up window. Enhanced Notifications PBXware 5.0 now includes more notification icons to improve functionality. For example, a small icon notifies users that their system does not have an emergency trunks set, and the PBX service button turns red to warn admins that their PBX service stopped running. 02 Unified Design PBXware 5.0, as well as its forms, alerts and pop-up windows have a unified look across different platforms and different operating systems. Designed with user convenience in mind, the PBXware GUI looks the same, no matter where it is accessed from. Easy Password Changes PBXware 5.0 now includes a button that allows administrators to change their password regardless of where they are in the interface. Making it more convenient for admins to update their log-in information can go a long way in helping them keep their system safe. 03 Audit Log In-Browser Listening One of the most sought-after features, the Audit Log, keeps a chronological record of all user activities. Action Logs provide information on what changes were made, when and by whom. They can also help detect unauthorized access by storing IP addresses used to log into your PBXware. The new 5.0 interface now allows users to listen to call recordings directly from their browser and navigate through the recording using their mouse. While downloading recordings and finding a compatible media player is no longer necessary in PBXware 5.0, users can choose to download these files for their records.

07 Self-Care Dashboard 10 The new Dashboard in the OSC Portal displays relevant information, including registered devices, voicemail status and call statistics. In addition, users can enable or disable Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb functionalities here, and the status of these settings is clearly marked for user convenience. Multi-Tenant DIDs To ease the management of DID management, PBXware 5.0 allows master administrators to assign a range of DID numbers to a DID group. Tenant administrators can later distribute and set up DID numbers from this group without the need of a PBXware administrator s assistance. 08 Queue Members & Agents 11 Sections displaying queue members and agents have been redesigned for added convenience. In addition, administrators can now select available members and agents from a drop-down list or they can filter results by typing a name in the search engine. Multiple Client Registrations Asterisk 13 has made multiple registrations possible. In PBXware 5.0 users can now have more than one simultaneous desk phone and S-NET Connect desktop or mobile application registered to their extension. 09 New Queue Statistics 12 PBXware 5.0 Queue Statistics now come with a more user-friendly interface. With the number of reports increased to 34, the general functionality of the module was expanded significantly as well. In addition, admins can now filter data by members, callers, call and hold duration, as well as time format to deliver targeted reports. Scheduling reports for specific timeframes has become more flexible and data download formats now include PDF and CSV. Push Notifications Another feature expected with anticipation is the capability to send push notifications. PBXware 5.0 is now running a Push Notifications Service to our hosted Push Notifications Platform, enabling the S-NET Connect mobile application to inform users of incoming and missed calls, new voicemail messages, as well as new software updates.

Language Settings To speed up the setup process and allow sound files to be played in a range of languages, PBXware 5.0 now allows language settings to be customized at the tenant level. This feature requires the purchase and upload of sound files through the admin interface, which continues to be available only in English. 16 Account Suspension Automatic Account Suspension prevents unauthorized access by suspending an account after 4 unsuccessful login attempts in one minute. Users can customize these settings, and require an administrator if their account has been locked. UAD Filtering The newly expanded number of supported devices poses a challenge for admins in finding and editing UADs for devices they would like to enable or change. UAD filtering will help them perform this task easier and faster. UADs can be filtered by manufacturer or status. 17 Syntax Highlighting The Conf Files module of PBXware 5.0 has been updated to make syntax highlighting available. Users who rely on this module to edit configuration files will reap the most benefits of this new functionality. SMTP Log Email notifications are an important component of PBXware, providing reports on issues and the status of the system, as well as sending access details to new users. In Version 5.0, the SMTP Log is built in the PBXware interface, allowing easier debugging when emails are not delivered. 18 Paging Groups The new Paging Groups feature introduced in PBXware 5.0 allows admins to organize extensions into multiple paging groups and assign a unique number to each of them. This feature is used with access code *600, and the paging group number has to be entered after this access code.

19 QR Code When new extensions are created, PBXware 5.0 automatically emails users a unique QR code that makes their first login experience more convenient and less error-prone. QR codes are only functional before users set new passwords or when administrators reset passwords for users who have forgotten theirs. Improved Phone Integration PBXware 4.0 had a much higher level of integration with Polycom desk phones than with any devices manufactured by other vendors. Back-end features newly implemented in PBXware 5.0 now help integrate our clients systems with a wide variety of devices from an equally wide range of manufacturers. 20 Let s Encrypt PBXware 5 now includes Let s Encrypt integration. This feature takes worrying about SSL certificate expirations off our client s shoulders. The service automatically renews SSL certificates every 90 days without any need for user interaction. Improved TLS/SSL Security To keep all mobile communications secure, PBXware now supports SIP TLS and SRTP security in its integration with the S-NET Connect Mobile application. While some manual setup is required on te server side, using TLS functionality can greatly enhance your security. 21 Remote Storage PBXware 5.0 now integrates with remote storage services including Amazon S3 and Dropbox, as well as FTP servers. Administrators can choose between these options to store CDRs and voicemails, and can choose to keep their records on their PBXware server as well. Free G729 Codec PBXware 5.0 comes with a royalty free G729 codec included. With its low bandwidth requirements, the G729 can significantly increase the quality of your voice communications when one or more of your offices operate under a slower internet connection.

25 Hot Desking License 27 In PBXware 5.0 the Hot Desking feature is only available for use if enabled in the PBXware license. Our engineers will inspect your system before it is upgraded to Version 5.0 and inform you if any steps need to be taken before the upgrade can be performed. UAD Support PBXware 5.0 now supports a wide range of new devices from vendors including Polycom, Cisco, Yealink, Panasonic, Huawei, Obihai, Mitel, FanVil, Hanlong and VRTech, as well as ATA devices from manufacturers such as GrandStream and Obihai. 26 New About Page 28 In addition to the PBXware edition, version and features enabled in the license, as well as license details, the updated About page now displays usage metrics on components restricted through PBXware licensing such as Extensions, DIDs, Conferences, IVRs, or Queues. Removed Features To streamline PBXware 5.0 we have removed features including the IVR tree, Network (DUNDI) and the CDR Summary from the reports page.
