Warning Intended use This Comelit product was designed for use in the creation of audio and video communication systems in residential, commercial or industrial settings and in public buildings or buildings used by the public. Installation All activities connected to the installation of Comelit products must be carried out by qualified technical personnel, with careful observation of the indications provided in the Manuals / Instruction sheets supplied with those products. Wires Cut o the power supply before carrying out any maintenance procedures. Use wires with a cross-section suited to the distances involved, observing the instructions provided in the system manual. We advise against running the system wires through the same duct as the power cables (230V or higher). Safe usage To ensure Comelit products are used safely: carefully observe the indications provided in the Manuals / Instruction sheets make sure the system created using Comelit products has not been tampered with / damaged. Maintenance Comelit products do not require maintenance aside from routine cleaning, which should be carried out in accordance with the indications provided in the Manuals / Instruction sheets. ViP Mini Monitor The menu icons vary depending on the type of system installed and the functions available. Press the soft-touch key view the main menu to access the display and Functions available Intercoms This function allows you to call addresses saved in the directory. Save the setting Cameras This function allows you to view a directory of cameras and to start live streaming. Actuators Access the dedicated section, then select the camera you wish to interrogate from the directory This function allows you to activate an actuator by selecting it from the programmed directory. Access the dedicated section, then select the command you wish to activate from the directory Doors open This function allows you to view a directory of doors to check their status (open/closed). f f Access the dedicated section to view the directory, then select the door to interrogate in order to start live streaming from the camera. 4

Answering service setup This function allows you to manage the parameters for the device's video memory function. Tick the box to enable the function. Video memory This function allows you to enable/disable the video memory on the device. Scroll through the menu to the icon and press to confirm and enable the function The icon in the main menu changes colour The soft-touch key LED illuminates (Steady light) Messages Both functions must be ticked This function allows you to access the ViP messaging system of the device. Call divert This function allows you to quickly enable/disable the call divert function. Scroll through the menu to the icon and press to confirm and enable the function The icon in the main menu changes colour LONG PRESS (> 3s) to access the dedicated video memory submenu Video messages MESSAGES Wi-Fi connection (applies to art. 6742W) The icon in the main menu oers quick access to the Wi-Fi options/functions of the device while indicating its connection status. Wi-Fi o If the system requires wireless connection of the monitor, access the relevant setup menu and confirm "Enable Wi-Fi". Connection absent Monitor Wi-Fi reception is enabled, therefore you need to check the router conditions (on/o, correct operation, distance from the monitor, correct password). 07:15 10/04/2017 If the system requires wireless connection of the monitor, access the relevant setup menu and confirm "Enable Wi-Fi". Moderate Weak Network scan We recommend linking the monitor to your router by means of the WPS button. If the router does not have a WPS button, proceed by entering the password manually. Procedure via WPS After scanning the networks, press on the monitor for secure linking via WPS and follow the instructions. WiFi setup via the COMELIT app Setup can also be carried out via the app. Refer to the dedicated section on the website pro.comelitgroup.com > 6742W > Smart registration. Manual procedure After scanning the networks, select your router s network and enter the password, following the instructions on the display. The lack of Wi-Fi connection will prevent calls from being received on a smartphone (and, in some types of system, on the monitor too) and cancels all main functions that can be controlled via the app. The monitor provides pop-up notification in the event that there is no Wi-Fi connection between the monitor and the router. Volume adjustment This menu allows you to manage and adjust the audio volume of the keys. Increase/decrease the value using the arrow keys Confirm the selection by clicking on the tick symbol Press Exit to return to previous screen YES NO Backlight adjustment It is possible to increase and reduce the monitor backlighting level. After 60 seconds, the screen is unlocked automatically 8
