One of the 78 selected mentees from Middle East, North Sub-Saharan and South Africa. A program initiated and sponsored by United States' Department of State to empower leading women in IT. I spent six weeks at Silicon Valley hosted by Oracle and worked on a project; then went to Washington D.C. for 1 week to meet with officials from the Department of State, gained exposure and insight on how I can develop and empower women in my home country. Some activities in this program include meeting with CTO of State Megan Smith, as well as an honorary luncheon for the TechWomen Program with Assistant Secretary Evan Ryan also hosted at the Department of State.
