CCC ONE Workflow Appraiser Management Using IE10 or Higher This job aid outlines the steps to upload estimate files to the claim folder using Windows Internet Explorer 10 or higher. NOTE: Internet Explorer versions lower than 10 are not supported. To find out which version you re using, open your browser, click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, and select About Internet Explorer. A window will open, indicating the version you re using. PART 1 - Import, Write/Lock, Export Estimate (3 steps) Perform the following steps using your Estimating system. NOTE: If you have downloaded the assignment, unzip/extract the saved assignment zip file and import the assignment into your estimate application. See Part 3 Download Assignments. Downloading assignments is optional and NOT needed if the estimate already has claim information. 1. Complete the estimate in your Estimating system. NOTE: Be sure to include all claim information. 2. Lock the estimate so no changes can be made. Based on your Estimating system, locking may be done through the Commit or Complete action. 3. Remember the folder path where you saved the exported estimate (typically the Export folder for your estimating platform). NOTE: If the files are rejected, re-export the estimate and upload again. on next page 1
You ll find uploading instructions for your files embedded in each section on the Upload tab. You can expand or collapse the instructions by clicking the Show More or Show Less links, or get more detailed instructions and information using the click Here links. 1. Click on Show More to see uploading instructions specifically for that file type. 2. Use the click Here link for more detailed information. Display or hide the instructions as needed. NOTE: The instructions will be specific for your browser. If files have been previously uploaded, the Help instructions will appear collapsed when you open the page. 2
PART 2 - Upload Files (5 steps) When you re ready to upload images, pdfs, and EMS files to the claim folder, start with the EMS files: 1. Once the estimate is locked and exported, log in to www.mycccportal.com, then select the file from the Portal Home page. The Claim Folder page opens. Click the Add EMS button. 2. Navigate to the preferred folder where you pasted the EMS files (typically the Export folder for your estimating platform). Sort the files by Date modified, and manually select the correct EMS files for the claim, based on their dates. Click the first file and scroll to the last file holding the Shift key down to select multiple files at one time. With all the files selected, click the Open button. 3. In this example there is only one imported EMS file. Click the radio button to select it. If additional EMS files are listed, use the radio button to select the appropriate EMS file. on next page 3
PART 2 - Upload EMS Files continued 4. Select PDFs and JPG files Find the folders that contain your PDF and JPG files.. Select the appropriate files from their respective folders. Click their Open button to add them. 5. After selecting files, click the Audit Review and Upload or Upload button to upload them. 4 on next page
PART 3 Optional: Download Assignments (3 steps) Perform the following steps if you need to download an assignment from an insurance company. NOTE: Downloading the assignment is optional. If your estimate already includes all claim information, the assignment does NOT need to be downloaded. 1. On the CCC Portal Home page, select a claim. The Claim Folder page opens. Click the s tab. 2. The s tab opens. Click Download Assignment. In the pop-up browse window, locate the path to your EMS>Import folder. Click Save to save the zip file to the Import folder. NOTE: A pop-up banner appears. Click Save As from the drop list. 3. Browse to your EMS>Import folder. Right-click the zip file, and click Extract All. In the pop-up window: 1. Enter a destination to extract the contents of the zip file (use the Import folder path for your estimating platform). 2. Click the Extract button Entering the Import folder of your Estimating system as the destination folder ensures the extracted assignment information will be readily available in your Estimating system. 5
