Getting started with your voicemail from TDC Business Quick guide to voicemail for TDC Scale Mobile Packages, TDC Scale, TDC One and Switchboard Packages. You have a voicemail account for your subscription. Your voicemail number is +45 20171717. To activate your voicemail the first time you call, you must do the following: Call your voicemail (+4520171717) and then press the Call key. You will now be asked to enter a PIN code of your choice. You will need your PIN code when you call your voicemail from another phone or from abroad. You will then be asked to record your name. It is only your name you must record here. Now your voicemail is ready for use. As a general rule, your on busy and no answer is our standard, which reads: >name< is not available. Please leave a message after the tone followed by the hash key. TEMPORARY GREETING You have the opportunity to record a for temporary use, e.g. during holidays, illness or an event. You record your own temporary, and you choose whether it should be switched on or off. When it is active, callers will hear the temporary instead of your normal when they call you in vain. How to use your temporary : Call your voicemail (20171717) and * to go to settings. Press 1 to go to s, and then 2 to change your temporary. Follow the guide, and record your temporary. See also the figure above. LISTEN TO MESSAGES Call your voicemail (20171717) When you have played back your messages, you can save, delete or listen to them again. 3
LISTEN TO MESSAGES FROM ANOTHER PHONE THAN YOUR OWN You can play your messages from another phone than your own. This is how you do it: Call your own phone number, remember to put +45 i front of number. When the voicemail starts, press the asterisk (star) key. You will be asked to enter your PIN code, followed by #. Enter your PIN code, then press the #. (It is also mentioned that you can press the asterisk (star) key, if you are calling from another phone. Disregard this and enter only your PIN code followed by #). You now have access to your messages. LISTEN TO MESSAGES FROM ABROAD You can play your messages from abroad by calling +45 20171717 and entering your PIN code. You can now listen to your messages an usually. CHANGE PIN CODE FOR VOICEMAIL Normally, you do not need your PIN code on a daily basis. But if you call your voicemail from abroad or from another phone, you must enter your PIN code when you call your voicemail. We recommend that you change your PIN code occasionally. Here you can see how. Call your voicemail (+45 20171717) and press * To change your PIN code, press #. Follow this guide, and you will notice that, for security reasons, there are certain formal requirements for the PIN code. They are also stated below. See also the figure above. 4
STAR CODES WHEN YOU ARE IN A HURRY Your services from the TDC Scale and One solutions can be operated using star codes. Here a couple of good star codes for your voicemail: Control of how many times the phone calls before switching to voicemail: *610 >no. of rings< o If you want 4 rings before voicemail, enter: *6104. o (Default is 6 rings) Activation of call forwarding to voicemail on no answer: *411 Deactivation of call forwarding to voicemail on no answer: *410 Activation of call forwarding to voicemail on busy: *401 Deactivation of call forwarding to voicemail on busy: *400 Press the star code (e.g. *400) and press the Call key. PIN CODE REQUIREMENTS You select your own PIN code the first time you use your voicemail. Both the first time and in the event of any changes, the following requirements apply to your PIN code: Must be at least 4 characters and not more than 8 characters. The digits must not all be identical. Must not be or contain your telephone number. Must not be or contain your telephone number backwards. Must not be your old PIN code. Must not be your old PIN backwards. Must not be consecutive digits e.g. 1234567 or 7654321. Must not be repeating sequences e.g. 234234 or 432432. 5
