It contains information that explains the workware products and features within the Canvas program. Once you click on the workware tab, you will see a main component tab with products and options. This component tab shown below provides an overview of what is included for the workware tab. These products offer adaptable technology solutions to collaborate and share in an electronic world. The product offering includes wireless data solutions, retrofit solutions for existing furniture applications, low-profile styling to meet a variety of interior design needs, and a number of finish choices to fit new or existing furniture applications. workware Connect Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Interface Module This 2 ¾"-high module provides user access to power, data, touch control, and phone cable passage. It includes a sliding door to hide wiring and cables. The wide, non-switching module is used in horizontal worksurfaces or tables where Haworth s single-sided Flip Top Unit cutouts are specified (options F/V or J/K). For narrow modules, openings must be field cut. From the Gray Input Box, make the following application selections: Wide Module: o Box checked: 5 -wide module. o Box unchecked: 3 ¼"- wide module. Switching: Check this box if you want a Touchpad and Processor that allows connection to a monitor. Power Data Power Access o Hardwired: 6' flexible conduit with wires for hardwire connection. o Corded: 12', 15-amp cord with plug. HDMI (Monitor): Port on back of the module for high-definition interface. Specify cable length. VGA (Monitor): Port on back of the module for video output; accepts a VGA port. Specify cable length. Audio (Monitor): Port on back of the module for audio output; accepts a 3.5mm mini plug. Specify cable length. workware Connect Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Wireless Module This wireless module is 1.1 " high, 5.5" wide, and 4.6" deep. It allows single view, quad view, and video streaming. For Cable Backup Checked From the Gray Input Box, make the following application selections: Elevation Cable Backup: Uncheck this box when the wireless module is used alone. Specify VGA and audio cables separately to connect to the monitor. VGA (Monitor): Port on back of the module for video output; accepts a VGA port. Specify cable length. Audio (Monitor): Port on back of the module for audio output; accepts a 3.5mm mini plug. Specify cable length. For Cable Backup Unchecked Once the product is placed, make the following changes or selections from the Green Edit Box: Elevation Cable Backup Render Antenna: 2 antenna ports. workware View In the workware View section, you will find products and options for mounting workware technology products in various workspaces. There are numerous application options, materials, and finishes to complement the workspace. This section includes three products: a table mount, an Enclose mount, and a structural wall mount. workware View Tab workware View Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Table Mount with Shroud This product attaches to a table and holds a monitor. From the Gray Input Box, make the following application selections: Shroud: Check this box to include a shroud. Monitor Size: Click on the appropriate size from the pulldown menu. Elevation Mount Type: Toggle between different mounting options. Monitor (Visual Only): Check this box to show a monitor in the 3D drawing. workware Mobile Easel In the workware Mobile Easel section, you will find a mobile easel product that supports a monitor. workware Mobile Easel Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Mobile Easel This product attaches to a table and holds a monitor. From the Gray Input Box, make the following application selections: Monitor Size: o For Seated Panel Height, choose 52"-55" or 65" monitor. o For Standing Panel Height, only 52"-55" available. Panel Height: Seated or Standing. Panel Material Utility Fascia: o None: No external power or data outlet access. o Non-switching: Access and mounting bracket for 6-port interface module. o Switching: Access and mounting bracket for switching 6-port interface module. Interface Module: Choose appropriate module. Wireless Module: Check this box for wireless option. Cable Lengths: Select the cable length required for the following: o HDMI o VGA o Audio Monitor (Visual Only): Check this box to show a monitor in the 3D drawing. workware Mobile Easel Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Change Tile Type Canvas function to change the material on a Mobile Easel. For Fabric, Laminate, or Wood From the Gray Input Box: Select the Panel Material to be applied. Use the green arrow to point to the tile that is changing; click to apply the new material. For Steel, there is an optional Steel Shelf that can be specified. For Steel No Green Edit Box Change Electrical Components Canvas function to quickly switch the Utility Fascia on Mobile Easels. workware Accessories The workware Accessories section includes a toggle for adding or removing a camera shelf, a horizontal wire manager, and an option to show a monitor in your drawing. workware Accessories Tab workware Accessories Product Gray Input Boxes / Green Edit Boxes Add / Remove Camera Shelf This toggle allows you to add or remove a video conferencing camera shelf to or from a table mount, Enclose wall mount, or structural wall mount. The steel shelf is 5" wide x 6" deep. No Input / Edit Boxes Wire Manager Horizontal This plastic wire manager attaches to the underside of a conference table. It can be field cut to the appropriate length. From the Gray Input Box, select: Length: o 1219 mm: 5 clips o 1829 mm: 7 clips o 2438 mm: 9 clips o 3048 mm: 11 clips Once the product is placed, you can change the Length in the Green Edit Box. Monitor (Visual Only) This button allows you to show a monitor in your 3D drawing. You can toggle the monitor in and out of the drawing. No Input / Edit Boxes Unit 2: workware Products and Options 13
Schemes In the Schemes section, you can select options, materials, and finishes for application to all or selected workware products within your workspace. This saves time and creates consistency. Schemes can be used and saved for: Specific clients and used for multiple installations Color/finish schemes Global changes For additional information on creating and applying Schemes, see Unit 4a (Canvas, Working with Haworth Furniture) in the CET Designer Reference Guide. workware Schemes Option Dialog Boxes Haworth Scheme Manager for workware Scheme Manager dialog box with options for workware products. In the Scheme Manager dialog box, select the Properties for this particular scheme (our example shows a client scheme for ABC Design). Once you have made your selections, click Apply, and Save your scheme. Another scheme option is to save a color/finish scheme. For example, save a Graphite finish scheme. Select the graphite finish Properties, name the scheme, and click on Save. These same finishes can be used for multiple clients and projects. Unit 2: workware Products and Options 15
Materials In the Materials section, there are 10 material options that are primarily used for accent colors on workware products. These material options are shown below. Click on the ellipsis ( ) to get a list of materials and colors. Use this to select or change the material and colors to be applied. The Material Select box lists choices for the type of material you have selected. Once a material and color are selected, click on the black arrow ( ) to pick up this material and apply it to surfaces in your drawing.
