SAN Switches 3 Unless an exception is explicitly called out, any FC SAN switch can be used with Solaris Cluster.

1. Go to My Oracle Support (MOS) http://myoraclesupport.com for minimum supported operating environment versions, HBAs, patches and other supported options for list servers. This matrix is intended only to be a high level overview of support. It is not a configuration guide. 2. ZFS as a volume manager is supported only with ZFS as a filesystem on top of zpools. 3. Native HBAs supported by : Non-Sun HBAs require that Sun drivers be utilized. See partner handbook for more info (a support account is required), if needed: https://support.oracle.com/handbook_partner/index.html Fujitsu HBAs are also supported provided they are the same as the native Qlogic and Emulex HBAs supported by. 4. Unless an exception is explicitly called out, any FC SAN switch can be used with Solaris Cluster.For Oracle supported switch offerings: Link: http://www.oracle.com/us/products/serv 5. ETERNUS6000 and ETERNUS3000 supported topology is "Fabric" only. 6. ETERNUS8000 and ETERNUS4000 support both 8 Gbps and 4 Gbps Fibre Channel host interfaces. 7. 16 Gb HBAs are supported in specific OSC and Solaris releases with a very specific set of servers.
