Welcome to 15.1 FP3 In October 2016, Verint will release version 15.1 FP3 of the Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) solution. Verint Public Cloud SaaS customers will receive this update as part of their regularly scheduled maintenance window, and no further action will be required. Customers with special release maintenance criteria will be assigned separate upgrade dates based on mutual agreement with their Verint Account Managers. Customers with the application installed on premise will receive a separate email notifying them that the release is available according to the terms of the maintenance agreement. Advanced Dashboard With the release of EFM version 15.1 FP3, EFM users will be able to create truly interactive dashboards. Advanced dashboards are survey-specific dashboards that support creation of multiple dashboard filters using questions in that survey, including the organizational hierarchy question. Custom Filters By Question In addition to supporting creation of filters based on question choices, Advanced Dashboards also allow creation of custom filter criteria, where Dashboard users can group different choices or text based criteria to achieve the desired filtering experience. Geolocation data support EFM 15.1 FP3 now allows survey authors to capture and report on respondent location data.. With the respondent location data available in EFM, the survey-taking experience can be precisely personalized using survey logic tools like Branching, Conditional Visibility, Quota, and Piping. The Reporting experience has also been updated to support Location data at all levels, including two brand new interactive report elements. Respondent Distribution Map The Respondent Map element visualizes Geographical distribution of Survey respondents. The Respondent Distribution map supports drilldown so that you the report author can drill in from a World Map to a Country level, up to State or Region level for supported countries. This report element can be added to any report, dashboard, or be distributed as a public widget. Respondent distribution drillable map Page 5
Statistics Map Location-based reporting can also be applied to key survey metrics using a Statistics Map. It allows to easily visualize statistics of survey responses for a specific question by geography and visualize how the average satisfaction varies by different locations. Statistics Map supports drilldown as well as report filtering and can be added to any report, dashboard, or be distributed as a public widget. Survey Logic by Respondent Location With 15.1 FP3, survey flow within EFM can be customized for each Participant based on their geographical location. Location Everywhere With EFM 15.1 FP3, Respondent location is now throughout the application. In addition to all the areas already mentioned, it can be used within Email and Case Triggers, Reports and Responses filtering, Response Manager, Participant Management, Survey Engine API, as well as EFM APIs. Enhanced Data Stores With the latest version of EFM, the process of running transactional surveys and working with transactional data has become much simpler. Now based on the imported Data Store data, the user can configure triggers to Add Participants to a Survey, Update Panelist Profile, or initiate the creation of a case. Event Triggers In addition, a new data type Element of Set has been added to improve reporting using a data type that is similar to using Choose One questions within a survey (like Gender, Customer Type, Company Division, or Rating). To further improve the experience of working with imported data from external sources, a new Values tab was added for Data Stores in15.1 FP3. Now users can assign appropriate Report Labels, Report Values, and Export Values to their Data Store fields. Here are some of them: Easier Data Store creation and data type definition: EFM automatically suggests the most suitable data type for all Data Store fields. User still can change it manually if needed Users can import data to a Data Store without a heading row in it Response Manager data now can be filtered by values from connected Data Store fields Page 10
Other Enhancements In addition to key features mentioned above, EFM 15.1 FP3 includes many smaller, but still worth mentioning improvements. Auto Number Questions One more incredibly useful feature introduced in EFM 15.1 FP3 is questions auto-numbering. Now it is easy to order all questions within the survey sequentially once a survey is ready. Flag icons support on Language Page To make language selection more intuitive, EFM 15.1 FP3 allows showing country flags together with Languages list. Country Flags on Language Selection page Advanced Text Editor Improvements (Link support and other features) In multiple areas of the application, including Survey Designer, Email and Case Triggers, Invitations, Reminders, and Case emails, the advanced Text Editor pane has been updated and now contains the Hyperlink manager icon. Data Filtered by the currently Logged in User Report and Dashboard viewing experience can now be personalized by using the Logged in User Filter option. This applies to any reports based on one or multiple surveys containing Employee External ID system question.
